Deposit rules for Lodges and Cabins We would like to inform our customers that we are requiring a refundable deposit of $100 if you rent one of our lodges. But therefore there is no more pet deposit required for the lodges.

A pet deposit of $50 is still required if you travel with pets and stay in one of our regular 1 or 2 room cabins.

Also cabin or lodge rentals have to be paid with credit card only; we do NOT accept any other form of payment, even cash, for cabin or lodge rentals!

Drinking water quality We think it is important for our customers to know that we are offering clean, fresh and crisp tasting drinking water to our campers. And for your health and safety our drinking water is tested every 3 months by certified labratories.

Ask the campground about the water quality before you make your reservations. It is important!

News from your favorite campground! Well, first of all, we'd like to say THANK YOU to all of our campers for their patronage. Some of you stayed 1 night, others the entire season. Some stayed in a small tent, others in a big motorhome. We hope you had fun anyway and please come and see us again in 2012.

We have some great news for you and we'd like to get started with the upgrade of our Fullhook up/back in site rom 30Amp to 50Amp sites. We rent them out for only $450/months plus electric. The perfect sites for longer stays.

Also we'd like to mention our 2 new studio lodges we've added last fall. They sleep 4 people, have full bath and half kitchen. Bring your toilettries, towels and bedding stuff everything else is provided. They're priced between $98.42 (shoulder season) and $126.42 (football wkds). Please add tax. Prices are based on 2 adults and free kids.

Thirdly we offer pancakes breakfast during the month of July on weekends and Holidays for FREE!! Breakfast is served on Saturday and Sunday mornings between Memorial day and Laborday!

And last but not least you can count on the same friendly and courteous staff you've met last year. Together we won the founder's and the President's award again! Thank you for rating us so good! Fernwood Botanical Garden Fernwood is a special place where people, plants, and nature come together. Beautiful gardens surrounded by forest are tucked into a landscape of 105 acres of cultivated and natural areas along the scenic St. Joseph River valley. Miles of trails await, and indoors, visitors may enjoy an art gallery, fern conservatory, nature center, cafe, and gift shop. Fernwood offers many possibilities for learning and enrichment, including classes, workshops, lectures, concerts, trips, exhibits, and special events. This beautiful garden is about 30 minutes from our campground and makes it a perfect day trip.

Niles Haunted House The very well-known Niles Haunted house is probably one on the best haunted houses in the Midwest. It is very close to our campground, less than 20 miles away. It is open usually on Fridays and Saturdays from 8pm -11pm in September and from 7pm - 11pm in October also on Sundays from 7pm-1opm in October only.
