Sites were large with plenty of room. However, there were lots of weeds that contained goathead seeds which get embedded in dogs paws and in shoes that got tracked into the RV. Hard on the animals and humans bare feet. Otherwise I would have given it a5 rating.

The showers/ restroom was always clean and there was always hot water. I didn’t have a television cable so the guy that helped us park etc. went and got one for me to borrow. Very thoughtful and nice of him.

This was our 2nd time to stay there this year and we enjoyed it both times. Like the dog parks and we also used the laundry.

Called late but was able to make reservations. Very nice beautiful location overlooking the mountains and village . Very nice restaurant within walking distant (1/4 of a mile) from the park.

We have overnighted with you many times over the years and had a great experience each time. Friendly staff, nice level RV sites, easy in and out. Unfortunate that your Wifi was out this time, but it sounds like it was an isolated incident. Thanks for another great stay.

Staff very helpful. Restrooms clean. General comment on all KOAs (10 different ones) we stayed at on this last trip . . . so many extended stay folks. People seem to be living at the KOA instead of camping etc. All but two KOAs are on very busy roads and or hwy, so if you are a tent or travel trailer bring something to “block” the sound.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Sounds to me like a campground is not where you belong. Of course, there is going to be road noise no matter where you go as they are all near roads. I believe you rated us based on your other Koa experiences and that's not fair either. Should be based on our campground only.

The campground was clean and neat. People think we’re nuts but we like gravel campsites. We winter in Arizona and our site is gravel. We love it. Anyway the people were very nice and friendly. Great campground!

People were friendly. Park was clean and quiet. We have a 44’ coach and we tow a Jeep Wrangler 4/door. No issues getting into and out of my pull through spot.

We arrived after dark and could not locate our site, but out of nowhere a golf cart showed up and Ruben came to our rescue and guided us to our site. Very nice RV park. Close to the highway but very quiet. Would definitely stay there again.

For a overnighter, Pueblo South/Colorado City KOA was perfect. Easy access off I-25 coming and going. Freeway noise is typical, but like I said, for an overnighter, it was great. Sites are close together but level. Utilities hookups are good. Electrical voltage was slightly below 110 volts, never experienced a problem. Water pressure was good. No issues. We're staying there on the return trip.

Quiet, clean bathrooms and very conveniently located off of I-25. WiFi worked well. The store has a lot of nick nacks for sale but hardly anything in the way of traveling supplies. Plenty of snacks and sodas.

Can be very dusty. Very nice campground with many amenities. Very dark in front of the social building. I actually tripped fell over railroad ties that are used there to separate parking spots? Ties are very dark in colr making them difficult to see at night when leaving the well lighted building. They are really not necessary.

This campground is easy access off I 25 at the Colorado City exit #74. The staff is very friendly and they escort you to your site. We paid a little more for a pull through with a patio, grill and fire pit. We were in E 14. The site is level and the views of the mountains are fantastic. You do not hear interstate from the campground. There is a restaurant just across interstate called Three Sisters. The food is absolutely incredible. If we pass back through this area we will stay here again.

We stayed here for 3 weeks in an RV and had a great experience. Everyone was so friendly and wonderful, plus it was the perfect distance from Colorado Springs, great sand dunes national park and several other stops. Highly recommend!
