Best campground ever. The deluxe sites are amazing for RV's. Regular site's (I used) even had two sewer connections to fit any length RV. Tent campers have the nicest sites anywhere. Everything was trimmed, clean, and pristine. Wonderful staff. Can't say enough...

Excellent location, friendly staff.

Facilities and grounds are excellent. Best washrooms & showers of the 3 other KOAs we recently stayed at. Staff is great. A little noise from light traffic and occasional airport jet & helicopters.

my only complaint is that I did not get my koa member discount on my stay!!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Value Card information usually comes up automatically with registration. Otherwise clerks are unaware of VK holders if they don't tell us. Not sure why it didn't come up. Camper was given refund of her Value Card discount.

smoke from campfires is bad for those of us with respiratory problems.
May 23, 2017
we arrived late 10pm but had reservations. There was a phone # listed but I didn't have a signal so couldn't call. Fortunately Their night reservation man came a couple minutes later with our paper work. He very nicely escorted us to our campsite.

AWESOME CAMPGROUND. WE WERE UP THERE FOR MEDICAL REASONS AND THE STAFF WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY TO ACCOMODATE US. A TRIBUTE TO THE PROFESSIONALISM OF KOA

Large spaces, conveniently close to all sorts of businesses. Location was in town, not outdoorsy, but nice. Staff was pleasant and cooperative.

Missoula is one of the best KOA camp grounds we have ever stayed. The personal are so friendly and the grounds are just beautiful👍

I could not believe all the emenities that were available, and I didn't get kicked off the wifi once!
May 18, 2017
we missed the convenience of having propane for sale. other than that, the park was clean and well maintained.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The RV dealership on mile north of the park offers propane for sale at $.99 a gallon from April through September. That is a rate that we could not compete with. Most campers favor the savings over convenience.

Pet friendly with three dog parks. !Lots of trees for shade. Close to many Missoula activities. Clean and affordable laundry facilities.
May 17, 2017
Very nice staff. In the city and crowded. For those who like easy access to shopping, this is a good location. Signs directing to campsite could be more visible.

We had limited time as we were there for our grandson's graduation from MU and had to get back to Wisconsin for granddaughters high school graduation. Hence, we could not enjoy the amenities as we would have otherwise; however, every member of the staff made our short stay very enjoyable. Everything was CLEAN...and the coffee was GREAT! Thank you, Missoula KOA!! John and Lydia Schibbelhut

Employees acted like they knew nothing; maybe they were new. Crowded.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

It is early in the season and we do have employees in training. We have all started fresh in a job in our lives and we appreciate patience and understanding. It was University graduation weekend and KOA Care Camps weekend so yes, we were very busy.
May 15, 2017
we needed to go further west on business this was a good half way point, I would not stay here to vacation, it's in town.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Many find us convenient as a base camp to explore the many sites and activities in and around Missoula while on vacation.

We think KOA Missoula is a flagship of the fleet. Clean, very friendly staff and organized. They also allowed us to stay past checkout to pick up our son.at UMontana.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We appreciate the kind comments. Our staff works hard every day to make our camper's experience the best that it can be!

Clean and quiet park. Easy in and out. Friendly and fast check in. Great dog runs. Thank you!
May 12, 2017
We stay here occasionally. Many long term residents and various levels of service. Overnighters seem to land in very narrow sites. Okay but not much for the money.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The various levels of service come with different levels of cost. Those who choose sites by price are purposely choosing the narrower sites with the longer walks to the restrooms.

Good stop. Had a great lunch, Halibut and chicken, good conversation. A lot of pot holes in the drive way, needs work.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Montana winters are hard on roads. Pothole repair has been scheduled but there is a long waiting list for repairs.
May 11, 2017
Well maintained and great dog areas. The restroom nearest us was out of order so my husband had quite a trek to the bathroom. It is in a rather strange area behind a shopping center, but once you are on the grounds it was fine.
May 10, 2017
it was great
May 10, 2017
nice campground, we will stay there again.

A bit noisy and office worker did not know how to ring up postage stamps.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The season is just starting and some of our staff are new and still in training. There is always a supervisor close by to step in and assist. We ask for patience as our new staff members develop to greatness.

Clean peaceful relaxing

Easy check in, always clean facilities and right in Missoula make this one of our favorite KOAs

Was just overnight. Clean and friendly. Will stay again next time through

This KOA is snuggled right into a business/residential area. It was really pretty quiet, considering that it is right next to busy streets and the school bus barn. It was fixed up nice, but not anything like a nature park, with really nothing to do. My main gripe with it was that they only had one bathroom/shower open & it was far away from our site. They had one closer, but it was closed.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We are a family campground, not a nature park. As with most parks, activities begin Memorial Day weekend. There were 3 bathouses open. Renovations on the one closest are delayed by the worst winter in 44 years. We are working hard to get it ready.
May 05, 2017
Only negative is not enough showers (OK this time of year, but if full in the summer would be hard to get a stall). the whole place is immaculate-both cleaning and landscaping.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We have 4 bath houses in the park, more than most campgrounds. They are primarily provided for those in the cabins and tent sites, as most RV's today are equipped with bathrooms and showers.
May 05, 2017
We don't usually stay at KOAs because they are usually run down and too expensive for what you get. The one in Missoula is pretty nice, and is convenient to town where we want to be. It is still overpriced but OK for one or 2 nights. I with they would join Passport America

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Each camper must decide the price they are willing to pay and the value received for that price. We are consistent with campground rates in the area. We feel we deliver a good value for the rates we charge.
May 04, 2017
The site was fine but the website had mentioned fire pits and you had to be careful to make sure you got the right one a bit confusing. The campsite was empty and the facilities were not all open and that is what we paid for! They should have put us in a site closer to the showers as our shower was closed. I was a bit disappointed .

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

There is a site description on line of all of our site sections. Camper chose a site without a fire ring, but if they would have asked for one once they arrived they could have been given one. A hard MT winter delayed renovation work on the closest bath house to the camper.
