We had an unplanned longer stay at the campground when the steps on our motorhome broke. Everyone was so nice and made our stay more enjoyable. The campground itself is very nice and we enjoyed walking the nature trail. The office staff is friendly and provided great customer service during our stay. We will definitely be back again. Nice campground, convenient to I-95 & US 74 for an overnight stop. Our originally assigned site had a small tree that I felt would be too close to one of our slides. The Asst Mgr easily accommodated my request to move to another spot as the campground wasn't very busy at the time. I didn't use any of the amenities, other than the FHU at the site, which all worked fine. Sites were gravel and level.

Office staff very friendly. This campground has had some much needed updates since we last stayed. Sites pretty level, gravel, pull through, full hookups, picnic table and fire ring. Would stay here again

Great sites, level so no extra work. Easy on/off for I95. Bath house is always clean and I love the one room for potty and shower. Much easier when we travel with grandkids. We pull in, usually after hours, go to box, get our map and were done. Just a great KOA when we're on the move.

4.00$ for a wash and 4.00 dry is too expensive, previous KOA was 1.75 each Otherwise the stay way good

Lumberton is one of our favorite stops. Friendly staff. We always reserve a site where we don’t have to unhitch.

It was a nice quiet getaway. The kids had a great time bowling and playing basketball. The staff was so friendly and accommodating to us and our friends who we camped with. If ever that way again we will come back.

We meet with a Square Dance group there monthly and the stays are always enjoyable. Clean restrooms with great showers. Nice meeting room for our event. Relaxing trail along Lumber River starts and ends at the campsite. Clean site, many RV parking spots have concrete pads to step out on with a picnic bench and grill. Friendly and helpful staff. Fenced dog exercise area w/ clean-up bag dispenser.

Reverse polarity detected in hookups. Had to walk around and find a lot without reverse polarity! Last thing you want to do after a long drive on a hot day with dogs! The KOA employee told us not to worry about, “your surge protector is probably broken”. NOT!!

Just an overnight stay while passing through. Sites are nicely graveled, dog park was clean and best of all, location to I95. Would stay again.

Your park is convenient to highway and amenities were satisfactory. My issue was the dust from dirt roads. Spent over an hour ,at next stop, cleaning car and RV of heavy coating of dirt . Other than that the stay was good.

We ended up at this location after our travel partners had a serious problem with their trailer. This KOA has an on-site mobile tech to support this. We also made reservations to be with them and made these reservations one day at a time, extending for a couple nights. Every single person at the KOA was supportive of our dilemma and helped in every possible way. Great place, we will return.

We have stayed here twice. As usual, staff were friendly. the sites are large and level. It's everything you need for a quick stop on a longer trip.

This location is a Journey park and was convenient for our two night stay. Staff was very friendly, sites were clean, although roads kick up a lot of dust. They could consider oiling the roads in the park to keep the dust down. We’d stay again if passing through the area.

Staff are fantastic. Facilities are great as well. My only recommendation is for you to put down gravel to stop the dust because people don’t abide by the 5mph speed limit

Breakfast at 9:00 am is to late most campers . Leave early needs to be at least 7:30 or 8:00 am for breakfast.

Very clean restrooms !!!! Sites are mostly bare, no shade. Picnic tables are a little old. Pull thru sites need to be leveled etc. Staff was very courteous.

I am in a wheel chair and the site was perfect for me. They even put a picnic table adapt for my condition. They have aa very good technicien on site. All the staff were so kind for us. Thank you everybody

We have frequently visited and stayed at the Lumberton KOA. For the most part we have always been well received and what I liked most was the flexibility and understanding KOA owners. Unfortunately, this year we were travelling with friends and their 5th wheel broke down on I-95. Sadly, no flexibility on the part of Lumberton staff to refund us or to move us to the following night.

Very nice visit here. Beautiful hiking trail. Sites a tad narrow side to side. Free breakfast was nice. Two dog parks. Hookups well placed. Laundry was clean and comfy but way overpriced at $4.00 each for washing AND drying. Will stay again on our way to and from somewhere.

This is a very nice place to stop for a night. Very clean washrooms, showers and laundry facilities. The breakfast at the office store was a nice treat. The pool was closed but I'm sure it will be nice when it opens. Friendly staff as well!
