Love it! Very welcoming hosts and efficient checkin. Clean site and great views of the river. Hosts does a great job to ensure guests are comfortable and if anything if needed. The bathroom / shower very nice / clean and homey. Best bathrooms while coming. Plan to return again.

We’ve stayed there several times, and it never disappoints. It’s a beautiful setting, the entire facility is as clean as can be, inside and out, and the staff are incredibly friendly.

Loved every minute!! Clean, friendly staff. They came out to greet us so we didn't have to get out... Checked us in, have us all the info we need, took us to our site and helped us back in!! That was the first time ever that's been done! Grounds are well kept and the store is so cute!! We will be coming back soon

We loved the accommodations in the caboose- the pond was fun to fish, fire pit at the site was amazing and morning coffee on the porch with the river sounds behind just was what the soul needed.

This is a very beautiful place to stay. The people who work there are awesome!! The bathrooms were immaculate. The grounds were clean and an excellent job on the landscaping.

Fantastic facilities and very courteous staff! Would be great to have espresso coffee available to purchase:). The price per night was expensive relative to the value in this area as there are many campgrounds that are nice and much less expensive.

They were pretty full, but I like the layout. It was easy to maneuver through. Cleanest place I’ve been in a while too! Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.

Staff was so friendly and wonderful. They checked on me daily to make sure everything was going well. Even checked on me before a pending thunderstorm to let me know I could join them in the camp office if I didn’t feel safe in my tent trailer. Great campground and Great people. Those bathrooms are amazing!!!!!

We had an amazing stay at the Jonesborough/Cherokee NF KOA. The campground is situated close to the Cherokee NF along the Nolichucky River. It’s beautiful and peaceful. You can hear the river flowing and the birds singing. Clean and well cared for park. We stayed in the Caboose Suite for a fun experience. It’s lovely and also full bath with shower. Great experience. Highly recommend.

We had to cut our trip short and leave the campground days early. VERY disappointed that they would not give us even a partial refund!

Jonesborough KOA is my favorite place to stay. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The staff are always friendly and helpful. They even have great pizza, lol.

One of the best campgrounds we’ve stayed at. Everything is clean and well kept. Staff is very welcoming and helpful. They treat you like you are a guest in their home. Sites are laid out to provide plenty of space with a good amount of shade. I am a very picky dog mom and the Paw Pen site was excellent and met all my requirements for cleanliness and safety. We will definitely be back.

The sites in the lower section of the park are great. They are near or next to the river and very spacious. I am not a fan of most KOAs but we love this park.

Wonderful peaceful campground tucked in the woods on the scenic Nolichucky river. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 week stay and were sad to leave. Laundry and showers very clean. Large gift shop. Very helpful and friendly staff. Thank you

It is our first stay at a KOA. So many things to live about this campground. The bathrooms were CLEAN and when you are finished with your shower the floor isn’t soaking wet. The staff were so friendly! The river was amazing. We will stay here again! We really loved it. We can’t say enough about our stay here.

Beautiful location! Very clean! Had a bit of a rain storm in the early hours of the morning, received a text from the hosts asking if we were OK and if we needed anything. Definitely recommend staying here!

I honestly can't say enough about this campground! Every staff member we encountered was extremely helpful and respectful. Gorgeous campground right on the Nolichucky River with direct and easy river access. Tons of amenities are offered at this location, including pizza delivery to your site, text updates during your stay, and a gift shop. Great location to surrounding areas all within reasonable driving distances, but honestly you won't want to leave! This campground is impeccably clean, staff are always easy to find, and bathhouses are spotless! ***Exceptional Customer Service - We booked a private site on HipCamp months ago to celebrate my birthday and Memorial Day Weekend, only after confirming with owner the details of our rig and that we would be able to access the site. After a 3 hour drive, upon arrival we could not get our 40ft fifth wheel into the site without permanent damage to our camper and tailgate. I reached out to this campground in hopes they could take us, at least for a night until we could make other plans. We passed this KOA on our way in less than a mile from where we supposed to stay. Ronda said come on for the night and that will give you time to figure something out for the weekend. I booked the one night and got settled in the site she had available. Within 1 hour Ronda came to our site to tell us not only did she get us in a spot for the night, she got us a spot there for the entire duration of our original trip. This woman went above and beyond and made our trip possible, and we had the most peaceful and relaxing weekend. Ronda, you and your staff are top notch, thank you so very much for a wonderful stay at a gorgeous location. You are appreciated more than you know!

This is a great off the beaten path RV park, very impressive and beautiful scenery, nicely positioned spaces and beautiful views of the river! The staff is very helpful and friendly, the store is nicely laid out with a reasonable amount of gifts and needs! I will definitely stay here again, and probably much longer next time to enjoy all the park and area have to offer! Thanks to the staff and ownership for making this a great place to stay!

Right on the Nolichucky River! Kind, compassionate, and friendly management! Loved the sounds of the river. Such a beautiful spot! I stayed in my RV, but there were very cute cabins on site as well. The facilities were super clean! Pizza and firewood available on site. Great for a mountain getaway in Jonesborough, or an easy drive to Johnson City, Bristol, Asheville, Cherokee, etc.
