Wild West Hoopla Week
Its livin in the wild, wild, west all week. Saddle up and roundem up for the hop along pony rodeo, yee ha. Fill yer bellies with baked beans, corn on the cob, sweet tea, lemonade, good ole fashion soda floats, cookies and milk, yummee. Test yer skills with hilly billy horse shoes (ya use a toilet seat), seed spitn, divein for gold nuggets and a hay stack treasure hunt. Nothin brings back the wild west like a good old fashioned wet n wild russlin wagon ride, its every man, woman and child for himself. Spend yer evenns under the stars enjoyin a good ole fashion cowboy flick with some delicious vittles like freshly popped corn. mmm mmmm
Kids R 2 Cool 4 School
Your way 2 cool 2 b thinkin bout school. Dont sweat it, youve got another week. It is all about kids having the best, most awesome, super fantastic week of summer. Kids can have any tattoo they want, add as many scrummy toppings to their ice cream sundaes and have the best dinner ever, tacos in a bag, yummy yum yum. It was a love of camping that brought Susan and David Barton to own their own KOA Kampground.
"We love camping, especially KOAs," said Susan. "We know that our customers are on vacation, and our goal is to make it the best and happiest vacation that they have ever had."
Before owning their own KOA, Davie was a real estate agent, and Sue a graphic designer. On this campground, it's not just campers that are made welcome, but also their pets.
"Our pets (dogs Sam and Cooper) have traveled all over North America, so we really understand the need for pet-friendly camping," said Susan. "Our dogs travel each year with us."
