it was just an overnight stay for us. close to the interstate. just didn’t seem like a friendly campground. gave us a map, sent us to our campsite, didn’t explain anything especially about the code to the bathroom.

Check in was simple. It’s an ok place for an overnight stay. Traffic is loud because it’s near the highway. The pool was green and dirty. Not much of a playground for kids. The office was ok and contained basics. The site was level which was a plus but sites were very close. For the price paid, no fire ring but picnic tables were nice. Not some place to stay long term.

The staff is very nice, you get a goody bag when u sign in. The laundry and bathrooms r clean. The place is a little tired it needs some maintenance, for example the ceiling tiles are missing the woman's showers. Our water spigot looked like it was run over. The water pressure varies.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We apologize for the ladies room and are aware it isn't as it should be. There is a leak in the exterior roof and we have to get that fixed first we do have a contract in place for a full roof replacement over the restrooms and then we can replace the interior ceilings.

Typical of what I have encountered at KOAs East of the Mississippi river... Older, unlevel gravel sites, close together... the full timers were away from overnight sites at this on at least. It was fairly easy to get to the site. I sure wish that KOA would standardize the site descriptions as to what defines a "premiun" site!

Stayed over night - easy in and out, close enough to Smithfield BBQ for dinner. Need to have Greensboro KOA Tee shirts in your store - could probably make a buck or two there. Loved the snack bag on arrival - it's the little things you do that count.

Enjoyed the pool, but wished it was cleaner. Pool and pool area were filthy. IE water was dirty, bottom and sides had crud on them, pool deck had grass, weeds and dirt all over it. Sites were nice and close together.

Neighbors septic hooked in at our picnic table. Park has deteriorated. Workers dropping there big dogs off at doggie Park and just leaving them

Arrived early with one of our a/c's not working. The gentleman in the office was so helpful. He moved us to a site with more shade then actually walked us to our site. Really appreciated all of his help. The goodie bag was such a nice surprise. We have been full time for 21 yrs & this is our first goodie bag. Nice touch!!

Very friendly staff. Lots of weeds in garden, grounds look unkept but clean. Sites are a bit tight. We were charged $78.00 for 1 night with a view of the hwy. Way to over priced for what you’re getting. We’ve been KOA members for years but seriously looking for other places to stay as we travel back and forth across the country. KOA is pricing themselves out of customers.

Mike was very accommodating, kind and sensitive my needs. Him and all of his employees went above beyond to make sure my needs were met without being intrusive in any way. One of the best camping experiences I’ve ever had at age 53. These are very good people.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. The sites were clean and easy to access. We have a 42' 5th wheel and has plenty of room. Bring your level pads, and make sure you have blinds. The KOA has lots of street lights throughout making it safe to walk around at night but not conducive for good sleep. The noise from i-40 is loud. Great for a one night stay.

This is probably the 8th time we have stayed here. Our last stay, in May (this one in July) was awful. The place looked and felt so run down. Gravel permeated everything. I wrote a scathing review. This visit was quite different. The person at the office was delightfully chipper and helpful. The gift bag was filled to the brim with chips and water and a granola bar! Place cleaned up.

We love Koa Greensboro for our overnight saty on our travels from WNC mountains to the OBX. The pull through sites full hook ups are convenient. The travel around the cg is easily managed with our 31 ft class c towing a cargo trailer.

There were just a couple of things that bothered us were the traffic noise. The state needs to put up a noise blocking wall. The grounds could be kept up a little bit better, like weed eating and mowing. The back section could be fixed up to allow more RVs back there with full hook up. The crew there were really great!

The only downfall of this KOA is that it is right next to I-40 and it is very noisy. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

While traveling from Wilmington to Nashville, we stopped here and loved it! The staff is wonderful, the campground's much bigger than what you think, the dog park is great, the loop through the park is paved so it's wonderful for walking, it's clean, the pool's sparkling & the trees give great shade! I'd definitely stay again!

We had such a warm welcome from Herb and the ladies. We got a welcome goodie bag for us and treats for our "kids". That has never happened at any other KOA campground we've stayed at. Thank you. Sharon and Tom Bolles

I stayed here for 5 months for work and had a great experience! Wendy and the rest of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Laundry facilities are very clean and well kept. The staff is always working on a different project to upgrade the campground which is very nice to see. They have a wonderful dog park with two separate fenced in areas which has a been incredible for me as I have two large dogs. They also have some nice trails through the woods for walks. The campground is located very conveniently by highway 40 which makes for easy access to get to and from work. Thank you to the staff at Greensboro KOA for making my stay enjoyable and allowing me to call this place home for a few months!

Dog park is awesome, water pressure in showers are awesome, Reading the reviews and the owners responses was priceless... stayed for one night and had a great experience, would definitely come again.
