Housed in the building where four students sat down at a white only lunch counter during the Civil Rights Movement, starting a trend that grew day after day in Greensboro. This museum has permanent exhibits showcasing battles from the civil war and rotating exhibits of unique and critical civil rights cases, people, and movements. 


GREENSBORO SCIENCE CENTER

The Greensboro Science Center has something for everyone seeking something fun and educational. There are weather exhibits where you can experience and learn about weather events. A zoo where you can be a zookeeper and assist feeding animals or just watch. There are also daily theatre shows where you can pack a lot of fun in a small amount of time. 


GREENSBORO HISTORY MUSEUM

Learn all about the city of Greensboro at the history museum, where you can find facts and exhibits back in the civil war or current events and happenings. Learn how Greensboro grew, about its importance, and how it went from being the "City of Flowers" to the "Gate City."

Take your kids to see the beautiful Gateway Gardens, a space that is both amazing and fun for the kids. Designed to help kids have fun and learn through hands on experiences, the children's museum will keep your kids busy. It has 20 different exhibits for all ages, a climbing tower, and a half an acre learning garden. This museum is said to be a playground and a playground for the mind.
