We look forward to camping with you at Chautauqua Lake KOA!
A native New Yorker and Fredonia State University alum, Susan Giles joined the campground as General Manager in August 2023, having worked 5 years as a guest services guru and Assistant GM for KOA parks in Albuquerque, NM and Bryce Canyon, UT. Working alongside her artist / groundskeeper husband Anthony Fearron, they extended the 2024 season by 5 weeks; expanded offerings for activities, events and workshops, remodeled and reopened two cabin accommodations, and completed modifications to the campground's electrical, well and spring water delivery systems, and water treatment infrastructure. For these efforts Chautauqua Lake KOA was honored to receive the
KOA Icon Award for 2025. The Icon Award honors the top 10% of KOA campgrounds providing the highest standard of excellence, and is presented to campgrounds that consistently offer exceptional guest experiences, create an inviting and welcoming atmosphere while upholding the values of the KOA brand.
