The host at this campground could not have been nicer. They made our stay very wonderful.. Very Very nice people. Thankyou

Enjoyed stay with exception of trains 75 feet away every couple of hours.

Good base camp for seeing all the things to do in the area.

We missed "Thomas" the cat. He used to greet us every time we camped out there.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Showers also nice.

Nice rustic setting with very friendly staff.

Nice campground. Enjoyed our stay.

Our tent was six feet away from the other tents, so no privacy. The train kept going by all night and blowing its whistle right beside the campground. The pool looked old and in need of upgrading. The sight was on dirt and no grass. The area is very pretty so at least that made up for the campground being awful.

We liked the shady Trees and the friendly people.

Love this park! Located in the Columbia Gorge it is surrounded by the best that Oregon has to offer. Minutes away from Multnomah Falls, Bonneville Dam and Fish Hatchery there is plenty to do . The kids really enjoyed the bike rentals, the swimming pool and the game room. We will definitely be back!

Great staff, Great sites around the Columbia Gorge, and nice looking park. The only negative is the loud trains passing constantly within 100 yards of the KOA
Jul 30, 2013
Very nice, well maintained campground. A little noisy because of the train track being so close.

Grounds were great. Trains were ok, every KOA on earth has trains and were used to them! Thanks for being so civilized about my poor driving (space 69. Hopefuly I can afford to pay for it without using my Insurance. We will be back! Want to try the golf course across the river. Dennis & Liz Edmonds

Too many train whistles in the middle of the night. Otherwise, everything was great.

This KOA should charge less because of the loud trains during the night. Larry

OK for KOA. some spaces are too small rest rooms are cramped but it has a good location. The trains are part of the gorge.

great tent sites. good showers. like having a dish washing sink. Love the pancakes1

It was good considering we just needed a place to tent camp for the night. It's great that the fire pit was very clean for us. And everyone loved having inexpensive pancake breakfast in the morning.

a very clean and well maintained site. Staff not only helpful, but made you feel welcome.

We enjoyed our stay. Didn't realize you were right near a busy railroad track, but it really didn't diminish our visit. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

Very friendly staff. Great setting among the pines. Clean. Pancake breakfast on the weekends. Just the stuff you expect from KOA, and a bit more.

Train was really loud
Jul 29, 2013
Noise next to train track. Way over priced if you have kids with you.
Jul 27, 2013
The hosts and facilities are worn but were very clean. the playground needs an update, but the sites were very nice. The biggest issue was the trains...holy cow the trains...

I really liked the large tent sites. I could have lived without the trains but other than that had a great stay.
Jul 26, 2013
very helpful finding places to go near by

Loved the spot Staff welcoming Stayed an extra night The only downside was the amount of foot traffic THROUGH our site to access the store and washrooms, not good camp manners

Great location. Friendly staff.

We were staying for the weekend for the National Motocross race at Washougal. The campground was perfect, with showers, a sink to do dishes, swimming pool to keep the kids busy. The train tracks are close but I slept through it.

The grounds are wonderful, the people are really nice and very helpful-but the trains are really horrible. It was hard to get back to sleep after every train. It is possible if we had been able to stay more than one night we may have gotten used to it, but that wasn't the case. You know what they say, "location, location".

Nice river breeze after 2 weeks in the dry Montana heat. A nice welcome-home-to-Oregon. Nice folks, too!
