Meet Your Hosts

A love of the outdoors and the decision to make career changes brought Tom and Pat Gardell, owners of the Buffalo KOA, to Tennessee.

Tom, who had spent approximately 25 years in the corporate world of Human Resources/Labor Relations, decided he was tired of sitting behind a desk. Pat, who had owned and operated a beauty salon, shared her husband's love of the outdoors and camping, so they decided to become campground owners.

Since purchasing their campground, they have made numerous improvements to the campground, and enjoy the daily comments they receive from their campers about how nice the campground is. Tom and Pat look forward to treating their customers in a way that will leave a long-lasting positive impression of the campground and staff.

When they're not busy operating the campground, Tom and Pat can be found enjoying their time being grandparents.
