Very friendly staff. They will accommodate all your needs to the best of their ability. One of my favorite campgrounds. But the last two years prices went up quite a bit with literally nothing new. Miss the billiard table. Please put one back!!! Love the dances and DJ on the Holidays.

Excellent. Very grateful. Some of outside deck solar lights not working. Recommend a gate at top of steps to deck to keep a dog free but contained. Extra electric heater was a plus. You are great!!

Showers were okay. Hot water was warm at best. Very noisy and tight spacing between sites.

Beautiful scenery! Cabin was cozy. The cabin & arcade need maintenance. The bedroom floor was in bad shape soft & peeling. The pots in the kitchen were bad. Peeling Teflon. Afraid we would ingest it so I didn't use and all pots had loose handles (scalding hazard!) need replaced. Almost every machine in the arcade was broken. We still enjoyed but $$ needs to be reinvested into the property.

Great place to relax especially by the river, kids had a good time fishing and playing Gaga ball along with riding their bikes around. Staff was awsome

Very nice place for a short stay. Possibility of choosing a site backing onto the river. Because it is located along the highway, the place is particularly noisy. And the sites are quite cramped, quite close to the neighbor.

We love this, KOA, one of our favorites. David was very accommodating and answered some questions and gave us some background history regarding this location in Tennessee.

East Asheville KOA is very conveniently located in between Asheville and Black Mountain. Both cities are worth exploring. This campground is perfect for families because there is plenty for the kids to do to keep themselves busy. I’ve camped here for many years and will continue to do so.

We had a great stay in a deluxe tent site. The grounds were well kept, friendly staff, updated bath house, and our kids loved the planned activities. Will definitely come back!

Glad to have reserved here with our friends who have kids and were camping for the first time. The paths around the lakes were great for biking/walking. I recommend that the kids arcade games be repaired or have more options available.

We stayed at one of the parallel lakeside sites. The view was spectacular. The riverside sites are also very nice. Very convenient to Asheville. Already booked another trip there. If traveling from the east on I40, GPS shortest route may take you through the town of Black Mountain. We found that the next exit past this KOA (Swannanoa, NC) was a lot easier to maneuver a camper.

We had a lot of fun at the Asheville East KOA. There were several things for our family to do. It was quite windy while we were there, which is no real fault of the KOA, but it definitely made the stay difficult in some aspects. The pricing on goods sold by the KOA was higher than market price, which I suppose is to be expected, but not necessarily appreciated.

This KOA isn't close to anything so bring what you need with you. Also there was a camper set up with cement blocks and stuff stacked around it. That was a little creepy and not inviting. Site was level and staff was friendly.

We have stayed twice at this campground and both times were wonderful. Trash pick up is convenient, bathrooms are always clean, and the staff comes by at least once in the evening to see if more wood or anything is needed. Very pleased and will recommend.

Really nice campground. Doesn't have the same space around campsites as a state park would, but it was really nice. The staff is friendly and helpful. Very easy reservations and check in process. Bathhouse are very clean and the grounds are well kept.

This place is so well-maintained and beautiful, it's a little oasis right off the highway. Perfect place to stay while hiking and exploring the area. The staff is so nice and helpful. Just do it, make your reservation and have some fun in arguably the best part of the NC mountains!
