Passing through Amarillo but needing a place to spend the night we chose the delux cabin. It was a single unit, clean, with extra room, a full bath, had a table and four chairs. It had a fridge and microwave. No kitchen or dishes. The bed was comfortable and we were able to back in close to the steps enabling us to easily unload and load what was needed for the night. We may stay there again.

I stayed during the off season with about 10 campsites occupied, the facility was clean to KOA standards and expectations. The staff displayed a "mall cop" attitude regarding where to park, I parked on the gravel adjacent to the cabin site out of the way of traffic, staff immediately directed me to park on the grass "in" the cabin site area, etc.

Keeping the front office open later than 6pm is nice, but not necessary for us. The TV worked this time (thanks). Everything was clean and in order in both the cabin and the bathrooms. The motion sensor light in the dog run was not working so the light did not come on at 6:30am. Maybe it's also on a timer?

Convenient. Clean. Pet friendly. Good place. And good people make good places. The only reason for the 9 rather than a 10: please fix water spickett by cabins.

Heater didn't keep the cabin warm AT ALL, one of the shower stalls was in disrepair and missing a bench, and the lady during checkout was rude. Office was also only open during check in and check out, so I couldn't ever go in to get anything.

We had a great experience staying at this KOA. Staff was VERY friendly and caring. Provided information on places/area to go visit during our stay. Thank you for the hospitality.

We stayed one night in a camping cabin on our way to Tempe. Cabin was great, clean and roomy. A mini fridge would be a great addition to the camping cabin fir the future

The people were so nice! The cabin was perfect! They accommodated my enclosed trailer so it didn’t have to walk too far! Electric outlets all in the right places, the digital clock was most convenient. Nice and clean! The lady up front was awesome! (sorry, I forgot to remove the pod after I made my coffee)

Check in was after hours but ok. Room was clean. TV did not work. Lighting could be better, only one fixture.

Had good amenities. When I found out it was by the airport I was concerned that it would be noisy but my first day stay wasn't. 2nd time around there was a camper behind my cabin with a dog that barked for a long time. Finally stopped about 10:30 which was good, but started up again at 5:30 in am so I ended up leaving early. You should have some rules about barking dogs.

Such a beautiful place! Well taken care of, 2 doggy play areas, bathrooms and showers are good, clean and comfortable cabin, kind and helpful staff! I think maybe the air filter for the AC in the small cabin may have needed to be changed, there was a slight “off” smell, but other than that everything was perfect! Would definitely stay again!

I loved the way they handled check in as I didn't even need to go inside. The young man waiting on a golf cart asked my name & handled everything. I stayed in a Camping Cabin which was located very close to the bathrooms. The K-9 area was perfect for my dog even though it was very hot for my 1 night stay. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioner worked great!

We only stayed one night but it very nice and relaxing. We used the pool and absolutely loved it. The staff were all great. The showers and bathrooms were clean! The grounds were well maintained. Loved that they had a laundry room.

Disappointed that we didn’t get an email before we arrived telling us for the ENTIRE week including our checkin that the office would be closed 1 1/2 hours early. A staff member was out of state so an email seems like it would have been easy. But the staff that was there was very polite.

We arrived late and the security guard was helpful in showing us to our cabin and recommending a restaurant that would deliver some dinner for us. Our cabin was clean and very comfortable. Thank you for a clean and comfortable place for us to stay on journey.

Very nice park. This is our 5th time staying at the park. There is new management since our last stay which has only improved the park and amenities. The manager did a great job, probably one of the most hands on managers we have ever seen. We will definitely be back on our next trip to or pass through Amarillo!

We got there an hour early for a Cabin and was told we couldn’t wait anywhere on the property, she told us we had to leave after a hard day riding our motorcycles. We left and came back after 3pm. Terrible customer service.

BEST KOA EVER! And we stayed 11 days! 1)BATH HOUSE - immaculate, great water pressure, consistent water temperature & 2 bath houses to choose from. The bigger newer one is right across from the pool 2)POOL- pristine, all day sun, open B4 memorial day & was heated with a new heater (which the on site owner offered to turn up the heat at night if it wasn't warm enough, it was) and open till 10 to accommodate late check ins, multi colored lights up at night, lounge chairs and sitting chairs with a covered shelter 3)SERVICE-friendly staff and they golf cart guide to the site 4)LAUNDRY room- change machine, good washers and XL dryers 5) GIFT SHOP/sitting areas-boutique decorated with adorable western theme, seperate dining area with large screen TV and kids toys and free Starbucks keurig, seperate outdoor cute coffee area 6)PLAYGROUND- very nice, kept up and raked with a swing for the adults 7)DOG PARKS (2)- 1 gravel, 1 grass (that is watered and healthy grass) (LOTS of grass all over property for walking pups and a huge grass field with 4 cute dummy hydrants) 8)NOISE LEVEL-complaing reviews WAY exaggerated! Small airport, and you may barely here 1 plane a day, only if you are outside and the train tracks are a mile away. They have a very long privacy fence that acts as a sound barrier and keeps down dust and brush. We slept like babies!9)GROUNDS -they were always doing something, from watering the grass to cleaning the pool, raking park gravel, even saw them wiping down the picnic tables!? Go for the patio site....the extra room has spoiled us!

Nice staff, very clean bathroom. Level site, the only problem we experienced was the mower did not have a deflector on the discharge and he threw a rock at the motor home. Sounded like a bullet hit our motor home. Didn't want to go to them office and throw the mower under the bus as we still were staying another night. Other than that it was a nice stay.
