The campground is one of the best KOAs we have camped in. We have been all over the US and staying at Sioux City North KOA is one campground we would go to again.

We got a spot last minute due to a change of schedule. We were there for an overnight stay on our way west and found the campground adequate for that purpose. The sites were roomy enough and other than road noise we had a good nights rest.

It’s a perfect stopover for us. We’ve stayed there before and each time have found the staff extremely friendly and helpful. The grounds are well kept. The only downside is the noise from I-29 which is not anyone’s fault and is tolerable.

The campground is really beautiful, with lots of trees and great amenities! The staff was friendly and very helpful! They offer pizza and chicken wings which we ordered and they delivered them right to our camper. The pool was closed for the season, but it looked very nice and the dog park was clean and the dogs enjoyed it very much! We would definitely stay here again!

Got in after hours was unable to get in and use the shower facility. Said to text a text at 9:30 for pass code received a reply at 11:30 PM. this is the only KOA I stayed out that I had to have a pass code to use the facility so I didn’t know to check earlier.

Too noisy, so close to the highway. Other than that, it had level sites, was clean, and the staff was friendly

The cabin was nice. Roof leaks when it rains. Limited hours made it difficult to enjoy the amenities. Rates should be lower off season

Nice campground especially for an overnight. Next to the highway so a little noisy for tent campers. Clean restrooms and adjacent to a bike path for safe walking/riding.

This is a good location for an overnight stay. It's easy access to the interstate. There's a little bit of road noise but it didn't effect our sleep. This is our second stay here on our trip.

We were greeted by Megan. Extremely nice and professional. Her co-worker was very nice too. We had thought we picked a site that was prime, but it was not, they accommodated our request This is a quiet location to stay a couple nights, pizza made on site very good. Only 20 min drive is a large mall with lots of restaurants. Kids area needs a lot of improvement

We agree the mini golf as posted in the office is under going repairs. As soon as we are able to close we will be able to finish the resurfacing project and paint. This unfortunately is impossible to work on during the peak traffic. The main rock area is complete

We tent camped. Even though we came in late, we were provided information in an envelope to get us in the gate and the restrooms. We were given the last site in the row. That was good in that it was farthest from the hiway noise. The sit was very lumpy, so we cheated and used the neighboring site. The campgrounds were quiet. Unfortunately the restrooms/showers were far away.

T11 does get the most use due to being further from the interstate. We do have two other electric sites but they are closer to road noise. Unfortunately, drought does cause for harder surfaces.

It was nice. Wish the pool was open and the ruts in the ground were fixed.

Temps during the stay were a high of 70 and low of 55. To continue to heat the pool for comfort would require increase prices. When vehicles park on dedicated gravel it eliminates ruts needing to be repaired.

Mid-Sept. Arriving a few mins after the office had closed. There are still travelers arriving after 7pm in Sept. A little disappointing. Located a grocery about 15 mins away, about 1 hour trip. Met some of the friendly staff next morning. Campsite, bathrooms, and my cabin were clean. All KOAs can be noisy, this KOA is really close to the freeway. Enjoyed my stay.

We stayed at the Sioux City North KOA as an overnight stop returning to Kansas City. The facilities were very clean, presentable and plenty of trees. Although the highway noise was quite loud but it didn’t bother us at all when sleeping. We would stay here again should our travels require an overnight stop in this area.

Great service! Great pizza! Great fire wood! I don't like the fact that I am forced to rate the area. It says there is an error and wants me to go back and rate the KOA, which I did as a 10. I don't want to penalize the KOA so I am rating the area as a 3 only because we did not really have an opinion but are forced to issue one. The app should allow people to leave comments without ratings

We appreciate not having to pay for guests just visiting us for part of the day.

We do have a visiting policy fee but traditionally this only runs during the season when all amenities are open.

I thought the place was clean and the staff was friendly. My only problem is when we booked the spot the website talked about all of the things there was to do. Only to get there and find out everything was closed for the season.

The only amenity closed in September is the pool. We still have gem mining, mini golf, jumping pad and jumping pillow, basketball and so much more!

Positive -Clean bathrooms -Neat grounds Areas for growth - ditch the bunk bed over the queen size bed -make sure cabins are swept, mopped and all of the counters are wiped down with bleach wipes

We appologize for the cabin not being up to standards. Since then we have re-staffed our cleaning staff. We do offer 2 4-person cabins without a bunk above the main. We hope you try us again and let us know in the notes the 4 person would be more suitable

Would have given a higher score but there is NO Kamp K-9 as advertised! When we checked in, on a Tuesday afternoon there were very few campers in the park, yet we were assigned in site G66. It is in full sun most of the day, but the bigger issue was the giant power box and small tree we had to maneuver to get our 45 ft coach and tow vehicle in. Then we didn't feel there was sufficient clearance to get all our slides out in the spot. We went back in the office and for $54 additional for our three night stay, we moved to a larger patio site. The pool is very nice but not having a fenced area for our dogs to run was a disappointment.

This KOA recently and is currently upgrading and, although it is nice now, it will probably be better soon. Level. Good utilities. The sewer hook-up is at the end of the sites so be sure to have plenty of hose. Nice area for kids and large, new pool. WiFi was better than most and ATT and Verizon coverage was good. Currently there is no actual pet park, but there is an area (we saw no actual designation) that is at the end of a cabin area that works well. The store is nice and clean and well stocked. Friendly staff.

The camp spots are gravel, which is fine. The location was right off the highway, but we didn't experience noose problems. We did indulge in a game of miniature golf. The laundry room was clean. $2 to wash. $1 to dry. Not a large room. Great store and brand new swimming pool.
