The ladies at the desk were great. We accidently reserved an electric only site, but really wanted full hookups. They upgraded us to fill hookups and still kept us next to the friend we were traveling with. I didn't give a 10 and 5 rating because I think the cost to stay was high for the area.

The campgrounds are OK. But after 3 years of staying there, I can't tell you how disappointed we were in the staff. We made a specific request for a campsite near the bathhouse/restrooms because after numerous surgeries we are not able to walk longer distances. Upon checking in we were assigned a campsite well out of our walking range. When we expressed our concern, it fell on Rude ears. Not KOA.

The pool was under construction so couldn’t use it. The cable connection was terrible. Campsites are too close together. Not the best KOA we’ve been too.

This was simply an overnight stay driving from Denver to Oregon. Had electric and water, good enough site for an overnight. Staff is friendly and helpful.

There should be water hook ups at all of your sites ! We had power but no water ! They should all be working

We needed a place to stay for one night in our travels and Rock Springs KOA was perfect. Easy pull in site and all we needed was close at hand. Staff was friendly and helpful.

easy access to highway. Lot's of businesses in area for every need. Wide roads inside campground that made it easy for big rigs.

Easy entry and exit and friendly office personnel. BUT- the “dog park” was filthy - lots of large piles of old poop, cigarette butts and other trash. We only stopped for a night but should have saved our money and found a boondock spot.

Low water pressure, water spigots way to low to ground to install filters. pool was shut down for maintenance. very dusty and unlevel sites. definately needs improvements. Staff not too friendly

We stayed just one night at Rock Springs/Green River KOA in a pull through with water/electric. It was level and sunny with a picnic table and fire ring. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice areas for kids and dogs. They bake and deliver pizza to your camper which is so appreciated after a long day of driving. The campground would be a nice base camp to explore the Flaming Gorge.

Clean and sites were reasonable (a little close together for us). Downside was that the campground is very exposed to direct sun all day long. More trees or large shrubs would help reduce that, and we found that there was too little to see/do in the area (not the campground's fault.

The rv sites really need to be level. Parking on gravel would not be a big problem to regrade the sites to make them level again. The dog park needs some TLC. There use to be a sprinkler system in the park but now it is mostly dirt.

Not their fault but the 40 mile per hour winds were tough. There are few wind breaks and grass is hard to find if you have a dog.The staff were excellent and very cheerful. I would gladly stay again,,,IF..the wind was not so strong.

We made a reservation by mistake at the Sheridan, Wy. KOA instead of the Rock Springs KOA. The ladies at Rock Springs KOA made a call to the Sheridan KOA and explained what had happened. The Sheridan KOA promised to cancel the reservation and refund our money. Now, that is over the top service. Gary and Jan Logan

Great patio site. Very windy, but that's the area, not the campground. The privacy fences at the patio site were very helpful in helping to block the winds. Site is very close to plentiful shopping and dining. Staff was top rate and helpful, my highest compliments!

We camped there for the night. The staff was very helpful. The only thing I didn't like was where the sewer connect was. It caused some inconvenience but we were able to use it

This was an overnight stay on our way home. We stayed in one of the deluxe cabins that has a full bath and shower. It was a great cabin. This park is quiet. The RV sites are all gravel, and some sites have a privacy fence with a nice patio and fire pit.l The tent sites are really nice. Some have a gazebo, but all have grass and privacy fences. There are 5 deluxe cabins and I believe there were 5 small cabins that have no bathroom. The pool was covered, but in the summer it would be great. There is a nice playground, basketball court and horseshoe pit. The staff was so nice. The office store had a lot of items available. Simple but great KOA. We have stayed here several times in a trailer as well. We've stayed in one of the water and electric sites, and we just stayed in a 30A FHU site. It was still a great place to stay and stay is wonderful. All the bathrooms were very clean. If you need an overnight stop, this would be a great location.
