Friendly staff, fit our needs, clean facilities, if we were younger would stay again If we were to return but at 80 this may be our last trip to the Island. Thanks for a good time

The site and amenities at this location are very good and we especially appreciated the firewood delivery and access to an EV charger. I was a bit taken aback at the 1 tent per site policy. We were two friends traveling together and didn't want to stay in a large single tent but rather our own 1-person tents. We hope this will be reconsidered.

Clean and well maintained campground. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the public Wi-Fi signal was one of the best we have ever had at a campground.

Your campground was the perfect location and had just the right amount of amenities for our stay. I especially picked this location because of your EV chargers since we came with a Tesla and needed a full charge before heading into the UP. Our site (87) did have a lot of gravel and since we had tents, we set up in the regular dirt area between sites (after checking with our site neighbors).

Very clean, quiet campground. Campground hosts were extremely friendly and helpful! The campground was close to biking/walking trails and only minutes from Mackinaw city attractions and Mackinac Island ferries.

Campground is very nice. We had a great site which we selected prior to checking in. The staff was great, my wife had a biking accident that led to a hospital stay and surgery, the staff was so accommodating. They worked on staying in our site or moving to another one so we had a place to stay. The campground was 35 miles to the hospital, we got one that was only 4 miles away. STAFF WAS GREAT…

This was by far THE best KOA we have stayed at, & we have stayed at many! It was neat & clean & the sites were well maintained. We could tell there was pride in ownership here. The roads were well maintained as well!

We arrived late at night after having trailer brake problems. Our paperwork was waiting for us by the door, and our spot was highlighted clearly making it easy to find and get set up. Campground was clean, quiet, and well laid out. We will be back again when we can stay longer than one night! We have highlighted you in our campground guide. Thank you!

Well maintained and run facility. Really appreciated the friendly staff and the regular text reminders for events and upcoming deadlines. Site is close to all the Mackinaw City and Mackinac Island sites and dining. The Shepler's Ferry pickup and drop-off at the KOA was convenient and easy. Will stay again when we're back in the area.

The staff was so friendly and we had a wonderful stay and will stay again in the future. My only suggestion is I would like to see them offer a military discount.

Very pleased with the location, staff and facilities. Very clean bathrooms, well maintained & cared for daily. Also liked the concrete pad at the campsite. Kept us, RV, & our dogs cleaner throughout our stay & appreciated the Weber grill, too. Would recommend you check the grill out. It didn't seem to want to get up to temp to grill on... maybe not sufficient gas? No Biggie. Still coming back!

We had a great stay! Our spot was perfect! We loved everything about the property. Unfortunately, we didn't get to use the pool but will plan a trip for another time so that we can. The store had everything we needed, and the bathrooms/showers were clean and wonderful. All the staff we encountered were super friendly and accommodating!

I decided at the last minute to leave a day early, and I got a refund for that day. They didn't have to do that! So nice!

Marvelous facility, wonderful pads with tables, Muskoka chairs and fire pits. Will be back

The 30 amp service produced high voltage that tripped our surge protector. We switched to 20 amp and all was okay. The services staff was very kind and helpful. Very accommodating.

I was a little resistant to booking at a KOA. Dont know why. I am so glad my wife convinced me to stay here. The staff is kind and helpful, the sites are clean and well maintained, and the atmosphere is great for families. Trash pickup at your site, fast Wi-Fi, even the hookups are the perfect distance from each other. This is just a well-run KOA. Plus, being a part of the KOA franchise, the website was super easy to use and you know exactly what youre getting.

It was our first visit to a KOA and it will not be our last. The sites were clean, wooded, private, and quiet. Staff were very friendly. The only suggestion I have (if it's a thing in MI) is to fog for mosquitoes. They offered a shuttle to and from the Ferry for the island which arrived within 5 min. We drove about 20 min to Wilderness state park for some easy hiking. Nice and peaceful. Don't forget the bug spray! The island is beautiful! I could spend a couple days there just roaming the trails. If you like to hike/walk, there is plenty to do! The trails are all pretty much paved too, so wheelchair accessible. Mackinaw city is very touristy. High prices on food and unfortunately the quality wasn't really there. Pancake Chef is a great breakfast spot. I'd avoid Nonnas Italian rest though (I take restaurant reviews very seriously, so I don't say that lightly) Dixie Saloon was good too. We really enjoyed MI. Thank you KOA! Great vaca!

Heavily wooded, small KOA. Well maintained. Even though it was pretty crowded, having so many trees actually made it feel pretty private. The KOA is located about 1.5 miles from town and there is a trail you can walk or bikes you can rent to get downtown. The bathrooms were clean. They have unisex showers - it's a hallway with individual shower rooms, so they are private.
