This KAO offers the amenities as described. We were thankful for the pool and cool breeze at night given it was a very hot weekend. It's an ATV area and well off the beaten path so do not expect a lot of family friendly activities or restaurants nearby.

The showers in the bath houses don’t have hot water or the water spits at you. The bathrooms are hot. The drunk lady at the pool telling everyone about her husband being in jail and choking her was not fun. Said she was not from the campground. Maybe stop letting outsiders in.

The people are great! Staff very friendly and helpful. Great location. ATV, hiking and beautiful lake. Unfortunately the place has SO much potential but sites aren’t level, need site work, power has issues, internet was out and the sewer at site was backed up. We come for location but park needs work. It could be the most amazing park in Ocala, so many cool things could be done.

The campground was great. The only two things that I was not happy about the campground was I was put on a site next to the Garbage and it smelled really bad rotten smell coming out of the garbage. The second thing was there is no type of shade covering by the pool. It will be nice to have some type of umbrellas with chairs or something like that around the pool.

Perfect location at the trailhead to ride SXSs and ATVs. Pool was great. Bathrooms and laundry were clean. Small camp store available. Wish the campground had more shade, but otherwise it was a great stay.

It was nice and quiet but we were forced to stay in the sun when there were flat sites right behind us in the shade was the biggest disappointment. We ended up hiding in the camper because of the heat. The recreation room could use some updating as well as the beach, a little cleaning. We did not even see a sign on how to play pool, where to get the pool cues...but happy there was security!

Poor water pressure at 8psi, intermittent power, dirty pool, no activities and obnoxious residents that do not want strangers there. Sites are overgrown and not maintained. After one night at site 78 my RV was infested with ants due to way overgrown grass. This place is way over priced, NEVER AGAIN!!!!

We hard a terrible stay. We were told it had beach access but could not use it. The grounds were unkept and terribly dirty from other past campers. Bathroom toiletries on our site and adjacent ones. No picnic Table or fire ring. When we arrived at 4:05 we were told KOA was already closed. We were told by security to go to a site that was not what we wanted and was told we had no choice. Way more.

We had never stayed at K.O.A. Ft. Mc Coy before. It was a great place to ride buggy's. They set us up in the shade camper's door facing one another. the third camper as close as possible to us with the door facing us also. we had a great time and the staff was great.

It’s a beautiful place with a gorgeous view. The only thing that could improve would be mowing the grass it was about a foot high luckily we had an outdoor rug to put over it and also stock ant spray seeing they are everywhere. We had to go to town to get it.

It’s a beautiful quiet place. I had a short stay, but will return. Come stocked with what you need, closest store is 40 min drive.

We love KOA's, but this one definitely misses the mark. Not sure how this campground is a KOA. The sites are extremely off-level and the sewer hook-ups are merely holes in the ground that you can't hook up to. Previous guests had made their own fires on the ground with no rings and burned garbage and left it. Hiking trails were closed and it was quite noisy with the ATV's running around.

Spent a few days of peace and quiet enjoying the view of the lake on site 350. The rest of the park and facilities were poorly maintained and not up to KOA standards. Would have been nice to enjoy the pool but cloudy blueish green water is unacceptable.

We brought our camper had a nice stay. Water, electricity & sewer, all easy to hook up and work well. Staff were very nice & helpful. This was our 2nd or 3rd stay. Will definitely be back soon.

4 months of bliss. The staff was terrific the resort is clean and well maintained. The laundry and showers were kept immaculate. I can’t wait for winter so I can go back.

The campsites are so unlevel it took me three hours to set up my class a motorhome. Ultimately a permanent resident was nice enough to lend me leveling blocks so that I could get additional stroke on my automatic levelers. The power pole was broken and unsafe. I have pictures, there were multiple broken power poles in the same condition. I was offered no discount for my trouble. Not likely return.

Campground is not maintained. Mostly full-time residents. WiFi does not work. I paid $85.00 per night for a concrete pad. I feel that it was overpriced. Water pressure is very low. Staff is not accommodating. Had to make a special trip to find out the WiFi password only to be told it does not work. Maintenance guy was very nice. This KOA is NOT up to KOA standards. Never Again.

The original layout of the campground, the club house, restrooms, showers and pool are very nice. The landscaping and ground maintenance needs help. The weeds are so high around the water, electric and sewer at the sites. This KOA needs to invest in picnic tables and fire rings for EACH site as advertised. The campsites need to be grated because of multiple fire pit holes all over the sites.

Amazing, fully furnished cabins. Cozy, quiet and relaxing! We had a blast being able to cruise over to the forest trails and ride our ATVs as a family.

Within one day of arriving, our camper was invaded by thousands of ants. Notified KOA worker and all he said was “you’re in Florida, they’re everywhere “. Umm no sir, my family lives in Florida, I have been coming to Florida for over 50 years and no issues with invasion of ants. They did nothing. Also didn’t like people kept walking thru our site. And wanted to curse us out when we told

I very disappointed that you indicated Wi-Fi but in reality it was beyond poor. No streaming. We were supposed to stay for 4 days. We only stayed 1 night. I did request some refund for the extra days and was told no. I would have to have made that decision in the first half hour we were there. That's ridiculous.

The park is very well maintained. The security guard is very helpful and friendly. The weekends are filled with Atv’s. So if that is not your thing you might want to think about another park.

Site 350 is awesome we tried booking again but it was not available so we booked a couple of premium sites and are having other family members join us as well,so we already have a referral guest lol. Negative is both the bathrooms need to be fixed asap. The first stall door in the club house still is not fixed from 2 months ago when we met the sxs group for a day ride. 2 not working in main b

Campsites were on a first come basis and where we camped there were no actual numbers. The "Beach" is greatly over sold but the pool is well maintained. Nice large community building. Front office staff were friendly and helpful. This is a large ATV-dirt bike community it can get loud at times but for the most part they are respectful to the quiet hours. We would stay here again. Verizon is 5G.

TOILETS WERE OUT OF ORDER ,SHOWER HEADS FELL ON ME TWICE TAKING A SHOWER THEY HAVE NEEDED REPLACED FOR YEARS! GRASS NEEDED MOWING WEEDS WERE VERY HIGH AROUND ELECTRIC AND SEWER TREES NEEDED TRIMMING. YOU ARE CALLING IT A RESORT AND CHARGING LIKE ONE , A LITTLE MAINTENANCE GOES A LONG WAY

Incredible rv park! Beautiful views overlooking lake. Very well maintained exceptionally clean they take pride in this koa. Stayed 2 times while visiting Florida from north Idaho.

One of the cleanest KOA we've stayed at. It's very secluded and the staff was amazing at accommodating our needs. We wanted to stay by the pool and they had no problem switching our site when we checked in. Obviously being that this location is near a national forest there are a bit more bugs. With our lake front view I looked forward to the sunrise every day. Quick hint stay near the pool. Definitely worth it.
