Location, staff, and campground were all great. My wife, dog, and I have visited numerous KOA’s this summer and this is our favorite. Definitely coming back.

Pristine location, very well cared for with great amenities. This is our 4th year coming here, make it a week stay, and leave Avila fully recharged with a peaceful heart and mind.

Everything was very nice. A lot to do. I don’t like the gravel you always have to wear shoes. Pool was nice as was the spa.

The staff were all very friendly, helpful and courteous. We especially enjoyed the pancake breakfast on Sunday morning. Loved the beautiful farm store next door with cute animals and neat gifts.

Good location. Safe. RV sites are too close together -- it felt cramped, like a prison cell. Bathrooms could be improved -- felt like a hostel.

WOW! This is one of the nicest KOA's we have stayed at - Pancake breakfast, movie night, beautiful pull through patio site with a fire pit, pool and a walk down the Bob Jones Trail...the only regret is we had to leave, but we will be back.

Stayed in a camp cabin. Cabin was well stocked and maintained. Lots of great amenities (pool, movie nights, etc). Location is good and nearby free shuttle bus. Improvement suggestions: Cabin windows don't all have shade/blinds, so light comes in early making it difficult to sleep past 6am. More hooks/shelves needed in the bathroom to store toiletry items. Overall, great campground.

Great staff. It's the best KOA we've stayed at. Best vibe and site features. Best maintained and lots of upgraded amenities. Above and way beyond our expectations. Not to mention in a great location and has an awesome store with plenty of offereings. Even game room and a variety of rental options.

The staff, activity center, store, pool, & trail were great. Our “cabin” was not as described or similar to any of the previous 3 KOA’s we have been to. It had an ongoing sewer odor, floors were dirty, chair had multiple stains, the bunk room was more like a closet, & we were unable to use top bunk since combo ladder/rail made it very difficult to go up/down from upper bunk & danger of fal

We (5 families) stayed from May 31 to June 3. It was to celebrate the May and June birthdays. Everyone had a fantastic time. Two families are coming back at the end of July to celebrate another birthday.....my granddaughter, Bella's 18th birthday.

We found the deluxe cabin very clean and comfortable minus the couch(soft).The kitchen had a well-appointed refrigerator, oven/stove, and microwave.The bathroom came with plenty of towels for the bath and pool.The linens were provided for both the queen bed and bunk beds.The playground was fun for the kids & they enjoyed to popcorn prior to the outdoor movie.The game room was also a hit with kids.

This was our first stay at the Avila KAO. It was great! The staff were all super friendly and helpful. The park was clean and well maintained. It was quiet even though it was fully booked. The dog park was awesome! We will definitely be back.

This is by far the nicest campground in the area- the only drawback is that it’s not right on the beach. But-the beach is a very short drive so it’s not a problem. There are some recent upgrades to this campground that are very very nice, including new table sets and my favorite: a gas fire pit!

We had a great weekend in one of the cabins. The pancake breakfast was AMAZING! The staff was friendly during our entire stay and very helpful. The grounds look better and better each time we stay. They also had nachos and cotton candy which was an added bonus to the grandchildren, and movie night with popcorn by the fire was so much fun. Thank you for everything you do Avila/Pismo Beach KOA!

Park is beautiful, clean, great amenities, very friendly and helpful staff. Each time we visit we see improvements, patios with bbqs added to more sites, more longer sites added to accommodate our 5th wheel. Love being close to the Avila Barn, too. Our favorite place to rv!

This was our first visit to the Avila KAO, and we will definitely be back! The staff were all friendly and helpful. The park was clean and well maintained. We brought our two dogs, and I really appreciate that they have a great little dog park with obstacles, and it was very clean! For being fully booked, it was very quiet. They have a pool, spa, playground for the littles, movie nights, breakfast ($6), and a game room. Nice stay!

My friend booked two RV sites for us I was nervous at first seeing the reviews but they def changed management bc the staff couldn't be nicer. They gave our kids a bunch of free toys and were very accommodating. All facilities were spotless and the best of all the Pool (which was pretty big) and jacuzzi were both heated. We went in early Feb when it was cold and my boys are squeamish in cold water but the pool was warm enough for them even at night. Heated pools are huge for us. Super convenient to everything, 5 out of 5, we will be back for sure!
