The grounds are so clean and well taken care of. RV spaces are large with full hook ups. Cabins are spacious and fully stocked. Lots to do for families. Staff is all very friendly and helpful.

It's our second time staying here and we love it!! Our cabin is clean with 2 new AC units in the living room and bedroom. We enjoy the pool activity, jumping pillow and dog park as well. The gas grill outside our cabin is ready to be used with gas tank attached already.

Our group booked 5 cabins, 3 of which were pool side. We had bed bug issues that made one of our groups have to pack up early and leave. This was very disappointing because they were the birthday group and the entire reason we were even here. It took management way too long to address the issues, and when they finally did, he came in hot like WE did something wrong. Not sure we'll ever come back!!

We've stayed at San Diego Metro KOA multiple times and have always loved it. However, this time we had a significant issue. We rented a tent site and the site next to us decided to play loud music (that was not family friendly - curse words and suggestive material throughout) until late, late hours, past midnight. Despite asking to stop, they continued, and no one from KOA managed the situation.

Nice and clean grounds. Although there was a mix up on our site the Manager was able to upgrade us to a better site. Staff was very nice. We felt very safe. I will definitely visit again.

Beautiful place to stay,we come here two to three times a year and it's always good time. Love the activities for kids and adults. Definitely a 5 star place to go RV camping.

My family and I had a great time. Saturday was filled with activities and fun for the kids: a bike parade, snow cones, pool time, treasure hunt, jumping pillows, and night helicopter launches. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, and the director was visible and interactive throughout the day. Great job KOA. We’ll be back soon.

We had one problem that forced us to check-out early. One room appeared to have bed bugs either in the blankets supplied or they were coming out of the walls. We brought it to the staff's attention and they took care of us as best they could. It was not an ideal situation and we know it is not fun to deal with, but they showed compassion and empathy. I would only say they were slow to respond.

I think it would be great if the space I am assigned would be cleaned up. There was bird droppings all over the picnic table we couldn't even use it and leaves were all through the grass. Like it hasn't been manicured for some time. The dog area I great but the mulch is hard on paws as they can get splinters and the receptacles were few and far between. I recommend placing more receptacles.

I would have given it 5 stars but my campsite had a big area of dirt where my front door of my RV was. The sprinklers would come on and just create a big area of mud. It was a pain when I would take my dog out at night to go potty. We would track mud into the RV and it just became such a mess to clean up.

I did like the facilities, however when i booked my stay a year ago there was a promotional purchase happening the second night . When arriving for my stay the front desk advised me that the policy changed. I was not notified of this change beforehand and, if i wanted to cancel my reservation I would have to pay a fee. Not honoring a reservation that was placed a year prior- l will not be back.

We always have a great time at KOA! The only negative is how expensive the daily rates are, especially for the cabins that have no kitchen nor bathroom.

With freeways on both sides led to a very loud trip. Our soot 1802 was very tight and close to the sites on either side of us. Great for having kids with lots to do, but for us who are retired, did not meet our needs.

This place is really nice. We love how the bathrooms and showers are well maintained. Although we loved staying in one of the small cottages, it could use some extra cleaning and bug spraying inside and outside. There was a lot of spiders that could be harmful esp to the kids. Overall, we had a nice stay in KOA SD.

Everything was clean and the staff were very friendly. My one complaint would be the live music by the pool was awful. The radio would have been better or spend the money on a DJ instead.

First time San Diego locals. My family REALLY enjoyed our stay. You guys do an amazing job at keeping the kids engaged and having fun. Amazing staff too.

Very nice place. Pool is top notch. Staff very nice and friendly. Loved the on site cafe featuring several craft beers. Had a good store and propane. Would highly recommend!

This place is beautiful. We watched, firsthand, how the maintenance crew keeps the place looking so inviting. We just got home and am trying to book another stay. We will be back soon. Hoping we can get a reservation. Fingers crossed. It's a beautiful day at this KOA!

It's hard to find an affordable RV park in the San Diego area. This KOA did the job. Nestled under large trees and has concrete pads. There is road noise, but that wasn't a bother for us. Someone was in our spot when we arrived and the staff was fantastic at helping us into another spot. More than accommodating. We stayed several days for what a hotel would have cost for 1 night. San Diego convention center took 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. We were not able to use the park amenities, but they offer a very nice pool area, fun bike rentals, and an outdoor eating area with a fun beach theme. We enjoyed a paper plate kind of breakfast, which was just fine for us. An areal image would have been nice to show all that the KOA had to offer and the convenience of the location, but we were told no drones. We didn't need internet, so I forgot to check. I'm assuming it was adequate due to the location. There was an altercation with some guests one night, and it had us concerned for our safety and the tent campers behind us. But all was fine. Also, there is plenty of tent camping spots and several log cabins. We would stay again.
