Shredded Beef


  • 2 pound(s) chuck roast
  • 1 c water
  • 1 package taco seasoning
  • 1 onion
  • 1 jar Pace picante sauce


Place a few slices of onion on bottom of crock pot, place chuck roast on top and add more onion slices. Mix taco seasoning with water and pour over meat. Pour half of the Pace picante sauce over meat. Cook on low for 6 - 8 hours then use forks to shred the beef, this should be easy as it just falls apart. Pour the remaining picante sauce over the meat and heat through, about 20 - 30 minutes. Serve with beans and rice. Enjoy!
