Camping Recipes



  • 1 dozen eggs
  • 12 - 16 oz. Jimmie Dean Sausage (Hot)
  • 1 diced tomato
  • 1 chopped green bell pepper
  • 1 chopped red bell pepper
  • 1/4 c chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic, pressed
  • tortillas


In a Large pot, cook sausage until done. Add bell peppers, onion and garlic, cook until tender. Add diced tomatoes and cook for another 5-7 min. Fry eggs (over easy). Serve sausage mixture into individual servings and place 1-2 fried eggs over serving. Serve with warm flour or corn tortillas.

Tip: Cut veggies ahead of time and place in zip lock baggies and place in cooler before leaving for trip.
