Campground Stew

Ingredients

  • 1 pound(s) ground beef (or any meat you like)
  • 1 carrot (or any vegetable of your choice, chopped)
  • 1 can whole peeled potatoes (cut in half)
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • salt and pepper
  • barbecue or hot sauce (optional)

Preparation

Fold a large piece of aluminum foil in half. Pile on ground beef, add potatoes and your choice of vegetables, add onion. Salt, pepper & sauce to taste. Roll up sides of foil so they are tight. Place along sides of fire pit and cook on one side until sizzling, turn over and cook on other side. Even kids can do this! What a fun dinner!
