Growing up on a KOA campground evokes good memories for Charles Leclair. So good, in fact, that in 1996 he purchased the campground from his father, who had owned it for 11 years prior.
"I purchased the campground because it is my life. I love to work and meet people," he said. "I try to do my best to innovate, to build, to improve-year after year."
His office and the newly remodeled bathrooms and laundry are a source of pride for Charles. His staff at the Quebec City KOA also prides themselves on being excellent listeners. "I would tell you with no hesitation . . . listen!" he said. "Every customer has needs, they only have to ask us and we help them."
Charles said if a customer needs help with an appointment while in the area, whether it is at the garage, barber shop or car rental business, the staff will make a call and place a reservation. They go out of their way to service their customers.
