Welcome to the Bastrop/SE Austin/Colorado River KOA

Bastrop/SE Austin/Colorado River KOA has 72 full-hookup RV sites with 30 and 50 amp connections. Our Texas sized clean bathhouse is THE BEST IN THE STATE. We've begun construction of our new pavilion and cooking facility. We have 2 custom built park model cabins nearing completion as well. Bookings are available on our site at the end of May. We'll post pictures as we near completion. They will sleep 6 or 8, so great fun for the family and friends. You can spend the day in the fresh Texas air, fishing to your hearts content on the banks of the Colorado River, or enjoy our river walk and park. Then at days end you can slide into the warm, swirling waters of our hot tub or relax in our refreshing pool.

I grew up camping with my family since the very first vacation I remember. Every vacation we took was with our little pop up camper. Those trips were some of the best memories of my childhood.

Austin had never been camping until we were married. The first time we went to the lake with the tent, a Texas Thunderstorm hit and we've laughed about it forever. That wasn't the only thunderstorm we encountered, and it's created memories that will last forever. After a few of those thunderstorms where we got soaked in our tent, we couldn't help but notice how the people in the next site were in their RV, nice and dry, watching TV and playing cards. Our next camping trip happened after we purchased our first Motorhome.

We hope to be part of your family memories. If we can be of assistance, please let us know. We're here to help.

Campground News

Coming Soon! Our custom build park model cabins are under construction now. We anticipate them being complete around the middle of May. They're very modern, with granite counters, full kitchen facilities, full bathroom, ceiling fans in the living area and bedroom. A queen size bed and bunk beds in each will sleep 6 or 8, depending on which cabin you reserve. They have a covered deck and gas grill.

The Pool is OPEN It's still a little chilly, but sparkling clean and open for our guests!
