No one ever answers the phone there. The park is a mess. Sticks, limbs and debris everywhere. Pool not working and green. No propane because they lost the employee who had the credentials. TOTAL MESS!

Flat sites with full hookups and trees for shade! Concrete pad for picnic table, chairs and provided grill. Easy to access off interstate. Friendly staff and clean restroom.

The sites do not represent the quality that the price dictates. Sites were level but not paved. Additional adult charge was $10 versus the KOA Shreveport was only $5. I guess location sets the prices even though they were under new management. On the positive note, the bathhouse was exceptionally clean and our dog enjoyed the dog park!

Abilene KOA was a huge disappointment. The grounds were unkept with weeds growing on sites that appeared to not have been cut this year. We arrived at 5:45pm on Memorial Day weekend to find the office closed and another camper using our reserved site.The pool was closed for maintenance. After speaking with the manager the next day she expressed the problems with obtaining help. Won’t return

This is the 2nd time in 2 weeks that I stayed at this KOA , the pool was not available. The grass was tall. When trying to hook up to the water the weeds or grass was tall had to dig through to hook to the water source. But other wise it was pleasant.

The whole campground and our site was clean. Could not get the KOA Wi-Fi to connect despite trying multiple times on our overnight stay. Luckily we had plenty of cell coverage.

Site was level and easily accessible. We were upgraded to a patio site which was great since we were traveling with friends. Some road noise but not enough to keep us awake at night.

The lady in the office was very nice. We have stayed in this KOA before. Noticed it is alittle run down and in need of some care. The lady said she was the only one there. She not only runs the office she was picking up the garbage and everything else she was able to do. Wifi was not working. Sites needed mowing.

Cabin5 needs a 2nd set of black curtains for front window due to the cute street lights at night. The beds are extremely hard.

Advertising says cable and Wi Fi available, not true. No cable, WI Fi signal only at office. We have stayed there in the past, but never again. We wondered why the other parks were full, and the KOA we were at was mostly empty.

Older Campground but under new management with improvements underway. Check-in and staff very friendly and helpful. Restrooms, showers and laundry very clean. Improvements to campsites and roadways underway. Would stay there again.

The staff is amazing and we got held up there for three nights while we waited for severe weather to clear our way through Dallas Fourth Worth area. The mosquitos were shocking and I'm covered with bites but that's not the parks fault. One thing that would help would be if the park found a way to keep the lawns cut. Most of the park had very long grass some six inches high and that doesn't help.

All written communication was cold, unfriendly, and threatening. We had to sign paperwork upon arrival, allowing an additional deposit to be taken out of our account to ensure all rules were followed. These rules were also highlighted in the guest book; for example $100 fee for failure to place key in drop box at departure. We have never stayed at a more unwelcoming KOA. We will not be back.

Good level sites. New owners so looking forward to some new items in the store. Campground is clean but grass needed mowing the day we were there. Only stayed one night on our way through, but appeared to be a nice campground. We’ll be back next year.

Overpriced as is usual for most KOA’s. Poor drainage leads to swampy grass area between sites.

Beautiful park close to the freeway with shade trees! It’s been getting harder to find so it was lovely to have some here! We found local places to eat & a grocery store… We spent two days at the WWII WASP Museum in Swearwater & it was well worth the trip!

Even though we were there only one night which included a hospital visit, I would recommend the Abilene KOA. We have stayed at many the last two road trips. All similar, so I rate them by their showers. Yours were everything I ask for. A bench and plenty of clothes hooks on the walls and door were provided. Big enough and the door hinged out. Good water pressure and hot enough. ��

We would love to come back in summer. This KOA was built in the original old style, but has been upgraded so well. The bathrooms are beautiful, the grounds are well-kept. So many details are lovingly cared for. Signage is thorough & professional. Thank you for a nice stopover.

Older campground under new management with improvements underway. Bathrooms, showers and laundry were well maintained and clean. Campsites were gravel but adequate. Wi-fi only worked near the office.
