This is our favorite stop when traveling through New Mexico. The camp sites are really nice but the best part is that you can order dinner and they will deliver to your site. Love our Grants KOA.

Great staff. Unique menu delivered to your trailer. Beautiful views. We’ve been there twice in the last three years. Each stay was as described. Showers / restrooms were very well maintained. Just about perfect.

The people, the bathroom facility, the pancakes were great. Sadly, the trains were not.

Stayed in one of the cabins. So much better than a hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and organized.

Bathrooms were clean and modern - breakfast was simple but kept up well. The RV was so nice compared to the tent camping we have done … bouncy, possibly from a damaged jack in the rear. Overall, staff was friendly and helpful, campground was small but the playground and game areas were enjoyed, as well as the trail through the lava rock field. Thank you!

This was the best place to stay, the staff was friendly, kind and helpful. We had a meal which was great after a long day on the road. I would recommend it.

Great place and very friendly service!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Love the free communal breakfasts! Your store has so many helpful things- wish all your patio/ premium sites were located on the edges of the rows, as shortly after we arrived, a huge motorhome pulled in next to us and completely blocked any view we might have. Hopefully, that’s one of the perks of paying extra for a premium site.

We arrived after hours however they were still open. Not only that but they cooked and delivered a pizza to our site as well. The staff was super friendly and amenities were very clean. We'll definitely stay here again.

We have stayed here 3 times now! A great place to stay overnight or a couple days, the staff are great. Very friendly and helpful in all ways.

Lovely hospitality, convenient sink for tent campers, clean restrooms and showers. Delicious coffee. That touchless pancake maker is a hoot and it's so much fun to meet and socialize with other campers at breakfast!

Very helpful and friendly staff. Nice park. Very little shade and no grass. This is fairly typical for this part of the country. Electric was good. WiFi was great. Overall, I would recommend this park.

The food and walking trails were lovely!

Had a brief 2 night stay here. The service was excellent, and the free breakfast was an additional nice touch. I strongly recommend getting the meals they offer. I used it both nights and they delivered it right to my RV. Pizza was too much for me to eat and could probably serve 2 adults at least. It was also very tasty.

We were tired and late when we pulled in without a reservation. The attendant was outside helping someone else check in, she saw us and promptly came over, got us a spot and within 5 minutes we were led right to our spot, excellent service especially because we were so tired, Thank you KOA Grants from British Columbia, Canada!!!

By far this is one of the best KOA's we have been at! They have a kitchen, we drove in tired didn't want to cook, and could order pizza, it was better than we can get in our little town back home. Clean & friendly environment great showers, wonderful gift shop that I made a couple of purchases Native American vase & turtle. Thanks again for the nice stay.

Nice individual full bathrooms. Good dinners for tired travelers. Kind staff. Quiet for good nights sleep.

Very nice stay, but windy! The bathrooms/showers were exceptionally clean. We enjoyed the dinners for two nights. We were able to explore El Malpais and El Morro National Monuments. They were both interesting sights to see. If we are traveling in the area in the future, we'll be sure to stay here. Thanks!

I traveled east for the summer and enjoyed 7 nights of KOA stays. This was my first night and I enjoyed it very much. The staff was welcoming, there was a beautiful view and excellent wi-fi.

Such a little gem! The staff are beyond kind. When we checked in, they were closing the kitchen, and asked if we wanted any food and they'd open the kitchen back up. So sweet. The campsites are clean and well-maintained. The bathrooms are great. The gift shop is super cute. And they offer free pancakes and coffee in the morning. If we ever pass through, we'd stay here again.

We stayed for 5 nights while making our way east. The campground is located just south of I-40 on the southwest edge of Grants, New Mexico, next to a large field of lava rock. You can reach the campground entrance from either end of Cibola Sands Loop, a short curved road that bows out from Route 53, so if you miss one entrance to the road you'll have a second chance. The campground has the usual mix of cabins, tent sites, and RV sites. The tents and cabins are all on the northern edge of the park, along with a couple of small RV back-in sites with only water and electric hookups. The rest of the RV sites are FHU pull-through sites arranged in three rows with all of the sites pointed northwest. All of campgrounds roads and RV site surfaces are gravel. All of the pull-through RV sites have a picnic table and are open to the sky; some sites only have 30amp connections, some have patios, and some have an adjacent tree providing a bit of shade. Our site (136) was a bit un-level side-to-side such that we put a board under our driver-side camper tires. The office building is typical of most KOAs: it contains a store that sells convenience store items (including bags of ice) as well as souvenirs, a laundry room with a small reading library, and bathrooms accessed via key code. The bathrooms are all individual rooms with showers. Next to the office is a collection of small lawn games (cornhole, Connect Four, and tetherball), and several steps further to the east is a small playground. A propane refill station and a dump station are located near the campground entrance, and there is a single large dumper across from the western end of the pull-through rows. On the south side of the campground is a short gravel walking trail that winds through the lava field, with signs pointing out landmarks and providing facts about the area. Campers can stop by the office between 7:30am and 9:30am to make pancakes with a pancake-making machine at no charge. The campground also has a dinner menu: you can order the food and they will deliver it to your site. Current menu items include five types of dinners, four pizza options and pie or cake with a side of ice cream for dessert. The campground has two dog parks: one right across from the office next to where you stop to check in, and a slightly larger one behind the dump station. Both have gravel surfaces, single gates, and no dedicated lighting. You can also walk dogs in the large dirt and brush area on the east end of the campground or on the walking trail. In terms of cell service, the best speed I saw on my Verizon Jetpack with MIMO antenna was only 3 Mbps down and 7 up, even though the cell signal strength looked good. The best speed I saw on my AT&T smartphone with 5G was much better, with 24 Mbps down and 8 up. The campground WiFi was excellent: I saw 70 down and 5 up on my initial speed test, and we ended up using the WiFi for work and for streaming.
