We love the campground. We were bummed the bounce pillow was closed, but understand it was due to COVID restrictions. As we were attempting to do virtual school and work through the week stronger WiFi would have been nice as we were unable to complete a lot because of the low speed. Great stay as always.

We stayed in Cabin 1. Very clean, helpful friendly staff. Very clean bathrooms/showers. Huge plus!! Only thing is I wish the lights around the park area had worked. Other wise everything was great! Be back next fall!

My husband didn’t realize we are rewards members and were suppose to have $10 credit. They refused to give credit after he had checked in and I explained. We have been rewards members for over three years and our family frequents KOA stays. They also didn’t have firewood over Labor Day weekend. They also did not have any activities planned and pool and jump pillow closed. Might not be back.

We are able to give reward point redemptions during registration only. We were completely full during Labor day weekend. We ran out of firewood. Sorry. Especially now, we allow campers to entertain themselves. A notification about the pool was included on our web site and on the confirmation email.

We had a great time visiting Yankton. We stayed in one of the cabins which was very nice and clean .The grounds were well kept. Ron and his staff were friendly and helpful. My wife would have felt somewhat safer, however, had there been an additional lock, possibly a deadbolt, on the exterior door. We would definitely stay again.

Cleanest campground I have ever stayed at. Friendly staff - one of the girls even borrowed us some batteries when they didn't have the size we needed at the store.

found the front desk stand offish, they switched our reserved sites around with out even asking us. they never disclosed the pool was closed. will not stay there again.

The cabin reservation for which this review applies was made online in May before we knew that the pool would not be open for the season. We put notices online and on all confirmations as soon as we knew. There are no other sites shown in your name, so we don't know what sites got moved.

Everything was great but there were quite a few ants in our cabin, just FYI I’m sure that’s typical but we sprayed they were in the kitchen and bathroom

We enjoyed our stay. The campground is very clean. The owner is friendly. The campground has room to grow. There is a lot of open space that could be used for activities. The usual, playground, pool, jumping pad and basketball court were there. It would be nice to add other activities for the family. We would recommend this KOA to family and friends.

Very relaxing and quiet KOA. We were in a deluxe cabin and it was absolutely more deluxe than we were expecting. The customer service was amazing and whole experience was more than affordable. Would love to own one of those deluxe cabins myself! We will definitely be back!

The cabin was clean. Don and Nancy were very welcoming and planed for our check in and check out. The stars were great and the fire in the pit was even better. my only suggestion would be to make the dog park a bit bigger. i love this place and have invited friends and family to come with us the next time.

Very clean, friendly staff, nice pool area. Our only issue was the cooking grill/fire pit location for camper cabins. The location is at the road in front of cabin. We were puzzled and could not understand why it was in this location, beside it or the cabin location being an after thought.. There was absolutely no privacy to enjoy a night time fire or to cook dinner, thus no evening fire.

the stay was good...it had rained so was very muddy for the first day and that is not your fault but a little gravel could be put down to avoid all the mud...My key to the cabin did not work...The cabin was not locked when I got there which I thought was strange and then at night the door would NOT lock from the inside...so was uncomforable about that...but a very nice facility for children ..

As always, we can not fix problems we do not know about. All the lock needed was a little lube. We could have fixed it right away. Our cabins are not left unlocked.

This was our second visit and it was great! Stayed in a small cabin both times and my kids enjoyed the jumping pillow and the pool. It’s only a few miles from the lake and convenient to get to. The property it clean and the gentleman in the office is friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to go back next year.

We had camp sites and cabins. Very accommodating no problems with making reservations and reserving shelter. Cabin 4’s door is rusting out and whole door frame moved when you opened it .cabin 3 the key would get stuck and you couldn’t get it out, it rained when we were there and you had to walk thru water and mud to get to the steps to get into cabin.could use a load of gravel by each cabin.th

We enjoyed our stay at the KOA in Yankton, SD. We were in Lodge 4 which was very roomy for 6 people (3 adults, a 16, 9, and 1 year old). It was comfortable and had all the amenties that we needed. The pool and bounce pad were the highlights for the children!! All was very clean and the location was well taken care of. Thank you!!

We rented a lodge & it was clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the pool, jumping pillow and sand volleyball while we were there. The lodges were close, but had privacy, and we sat at the fire ring every evening. We used the little convenience store on the property several times and their prices were very reasonable, and they had just about everything we could have needed! A GREAT place!!!

Very neat and tidy; obviously owned or managed by people who care about the property. Camp store had local wine and craft beer for sale, which seems to be a South Dakota thing but I wish more places would consider. Not so many campers outdoors in the evening which was disappointing, but it was very sticky/humid summer so that might be the culprit. I would definitely stay here again. Very nice.

Friendly staff, easy access but far enough from the highway that it was quiet. Campsites not crammed on top of each other. Restrooms and showers very clean. Cable TV is included, but you need to ask for a set top box. Gravel roads in the campground have some good sized dips. Recent rains filled them up with water so not sure how deep.
