The campground was clean and the staff was very friendly. It would’ve been nice to have a porta potty by the tent area so the temperatures don’t have to walk through the RVs camping areas to get to the bathrooms and also it could use a little more lighting.

Very nice area to camp, friendly staff, good/clean facilities. Very useful accommodations. Kids stayed busy & everyone was able to relax and enjoy the weekend.

The entry road from the highway was very dusty. A surrfactant such as Calcium Chloride on the road from the highway as well as the interior roads would help immensly. Oher then that, it was a good place.

We have stayed there a number of times. It is convenient, clean, quiet and has a number of amenities for children as well as adults.

The park seemed clean & everything worked fine at the full hookups site we were in. Not bad for an overnight stay though a little pricey IMO. The whole park was gravel roads & large mud puddles leading to the pull through sites due to the road not being graded. Gravel sites themselves were fairly level just needs a little road maintenance throughout the park.

Pool hours opens late and closes early. Store the same way. Can’t walk to the river because of the archery range.

Good place to stay. Cabin was clean and cooled well by AC. Bathhouse was clean but could have used AC or better ventilation .

we only stayed the one night on our way to the Black Hills and the campground was so clean and staff was super friendly and helpful. Will be back again! Thanks, John Jordan Arkansas City, Kansas

The pool was very well maintained and my kids favorite part! Never that busy during the week. All amenities were very clean - laundry room and bathhouse was top notch. The playground and jump pad also made this a great place for kids and families. Staff was always remarkably friendly!

It was only for one night but the check-in was easy and our site was exactly what we wanted.

The pool was clean, the grounds were nice! Bathrooms/showers were very clean!!! You can tell that the staff care about their kampground. The only thing that would make the experience better is if all the full time residents would be kept in the same area.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We dont have enough long term campers to fill an area of the campground. Memorial weekend was very busy. Had we not put you near a long termer, you would not have had a site. We do our best to give our guests what they need. See you next time.

Very clean and the host were so nice when i had questions about arriving late. The jump pad was really cool to try out. Would love to stay again when im in the area.

Great campground and staff. Lots of campsites for travel trailers and tents. The only change I could suggest is the water holes in the roadways to the campsites be filled and the roads regraveled. (Had to wash the wheels of my trailer and truck after we left the campground...mud everywhere.)

Lots of spots available. And they parked us next to a person that was there indefinatly and accross from another that was there for extended time.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Your only neighbor was on your drivers side. The closest other person was two sites away on the other side of the road. All of our long term stay campers are good people, keep their site neat, and are quiet,if they are even there. Had we known you were unhappy we would have moved you to another site.

Great three night stay. Clean, quiet, easy to find and located near attractions that we were interested in seeing. Full hook-ups, drive through spot was great.

Our stay in Yankton was great. We were attending the Summit League Conference Championships in Vermillion so the distance away was only 23 miles. The host at the campground was wonderful and surroundings were just what we were looking for. We would definitely come.back again.

Friendly staff, easy access but far enough from the highway that it was quiet. Campsites not crammed on top of each other. Restrooms and showers very clean. Cable TV is included, but you need to ask for a set top box. Gravel roads in the campground have some good sized dips. Recent rains filled them up with water so not sure how deep.

Huge thanks to Don for answering my midnight call searching for a campsite in the heatwave. We thought our power source would allow us to boondock, but it didn't. He very kindly told us to come over and we could check in the next morning. You were a lifesaver!! Thank you!
