We have been staying at Winthrop Koa for 43 years and loved every single stay. This time we arrived one hour early and they were going to charge an early entrance fee of ten dollars. Later that evening friends from town came over for dinner and we're told they had to pay $22.50 to come into the property they left and refused to pay that enormous fee told to leave the property and never return

We had the park to ourselves. It was off season and we splurged on the super site with a hot tub! They clean it just for you and empty it before your arrival which is so nice! Really great experience.

We had a wonderful stay. The KOA wasn’t fully up and in full swing yet since it was April. Things were being worked on during our visit. I can only rate what was open. We used a trash can at the Kitchen KOA and a restroom which was immaculate.

This park has the most wonderful and friendly staff. Bathrooms, laundry and the rest of the facility is very clean. We will be back!! The wifi signal is suitable for checking email. Do not plan on using it for streaming. Bring your DVD's if needed or borrow one from the office. Verizon does work well in the area. A great place for outdoor adventures.

Winthrop KOA is always clean, very friendly staff that goes out of their way to help you and the grounds are so beautiful. We love going back there every year.

The site is overpriced for the quality it has. The sites are too close together. the sewer hook is 5' from the next door neighbors fire pit & right next to his table. For that price it should be paved, not dusty gravel. It is a tired old campground & should be either cheaper or upgraded. I am surprised the health department has not shut it down.

We stayed at site 35 - the site was much bigger than we expected! It was very nice! The bathrooms and amenities were wonderful! The staff were very nice and friendly - we'd definitely come back again! The only negative experience we had was the second night had a pretty strong sewer smell, so we didn't spend as much time by the fire and kept the camper windows closed. Otherwise, very nice place!

I enjoyed the hot tub and whole privacy patio. Would just have added lighting to that area—around the fence or in the trees.

Very spacious sites and very helpful and friendly staff.. a lot of pride and care taken to provide nice spots for people to enjoy.. Winthrop is also a lovely little town with tons to do.. as well as the park.. highly recommend a week or so here!

The staff was friendly and helpful. Campsite was clean and everything worked great. The wi fi was spotty at best, but, we kept ourselves busy in the North Cascades. Glorious fall foliage! We will certainly be back.

It's a small koa but in a pretty area. Internet is pretty much nonexistent. Sites are either grass or gravel but neither are level.

This was most likely the nicest KOA my wife and I have stayed at. It was very clean, the bathrooms were great, the staff was very friendly and the surroundings were beautiful. We’ll definitely stay here again.

Nicely kept campground. Bathrooms are clean, sites are pruned and raked. Close to hiking, restaurants, etc.

They were awsome. We stayed up a little late on our frist night. They told us we where being too load (that we were) we all felt horrible. But how the guy did it was amazing and nice and kind and we totally need to be told. So thank you and I hope we can come back.

Great sites. The riverfront setting is outstanding. Washrooms were clean. There were clear instructions at the front door about the statewide indoor face mask requirements!

Our pull through “grassy” site was a dirt pit. The little grass there was looked like it hadn’t been watered in quite some time. The site just felt dirty. The picnic table was in really poor condition - we did not use for fear of getting slivers. Customer service and check in was great!

This was my favorite city on the Cascade Loop, by far, and the KOA was one of the cleanest and nicest staff we encountered. Very dry location but not dusty. The RV sites are above the cabins and tent sites. They still had the jump pad open unlike other locations we visited. LOVED the massive Adirondack chairs.

This KOA campground is nestled right up against the Methow river. The campground could use some maintenance attention & some fixing up/upgrading but all in all not bad. We got our 42' 5th wheel in/out easily. The cute western themed town of Winthrop is 2 miles down the road. Beautiful scenery all around. Great winery and the Cider House has great cider and great smoked ribs! Both in town.

Nice, quiet, near the river, but no feasible river access. Sites 9 and 17 have private patios with hot tubs.
