Our stay was nice and Winthrop was fun and beautiful. The campground is over priced for the area and even charged us extra to camp next to our friends. Even though they weren't full or busy.

Kind staff - on good note. $80 plus a night - Very expensive for what it is. Also, asked to be next to friends and was charged $25 extra - friends had asked the same and they pocketed another $25 from them even though most of the park sat empty. There are better and more reasonable places just as close to town. Will try one of those options next time due to cost.

The staff was awesome. Super helpful and courteous. The dust at the park was horrible. I spent 6 hours cleaning my coach and it was filthy in a matter of minutes. 90.00 a night with no sewer and a dust bowl was ridiculous.

We stayed 3 nights. The hosts were great! Very friendly and helpful. The grounds very clean. The showers at the far end were really nice, good hot water, spacious. It would be nice for them to renovate the others. Winthrop is a great little place to visit. Lots to see in the area. Looks like it is a hot spot for fly fishing as well.

We had a great time and our children really enjoyed the playground area. My only issue was that we got told our dogs couldn’t be in the playground area because “of poop” even though we literally had poop bags with us at all times not to mention to have locations all of the park with bags as well.

It is a beautiful park, but over priced. (totle $80.00 a night for a camp site). The Y-FI is terrible even when we were at the office, so slow we couldn't watch a video. We have stayed there for years. We have found a less expensive park for next year.

We drove the cascade loop and wanted to have access to the National Park. Our site was gravel, level and pretty with a large tree. The park staff were friendly. We have a larger 43 ft fifth wheel and the site was spacious with full hook ups. The town of Winthrop is adorable!

Overnight stay while traveling. Have stayed multiple times before. The campground is fine, as always, however we feel it is getting a bit expensive. $85.00/night seems excessive considering the time of year, and that some amenities are closed. We used to reserve our site in advance, but with the reserve fee of $25, that would have brought the price up over $100., just for one night.

Well kept camp ground, friendly staff, and easy access to groceries and restaurants. It would be nice if the pool was open in late September.

This KOA has really gone down hill in the last 4 years. The grounds are not kept up no longer green gas at the pull through sites. Pine needles were all over. The bathrooms near us were closed and the pool was closed. The other bathrooms and the store smelled like raw sewage. The store was only open 9-5. We have been coming here for 20 years for the car show weekend and we won't be back.

Over priced at over $90/night including tax and our KOA discount. No hookup at our site for sewer even when they told us there would be. I tried to take a shower in the bathroom by office and no hot water. The showers were clean. The pet exercise area was locked up. Nothing was paved. We could have stayed at Perrygin State Park for $40 with concrete pads, paved roads, green grass & full hookups

The KOA was not maintained as it had been in the past. We stayed in a premium spot. The fencing was broken and instead of repairing there was a plastic crate in front of the broken boards. The picnic table’s paint was all chipped and need to be repainted. Not what was expected especially for a premium spot. Public bathrooms near campsites were closed. Dog park not maintained.

No grass in big need of updating and tender love and care. Very old wood tables, only one shower house open that you could actually feel clean after your shower. Lots of work needed at the Holiday KOA.

We were charged a fee of $95.16 or about $120.00 Canadian.Everything was closed and no water in the pool and no one around. We always loved the KOAs but very few left in BC. I feel the fee was over charged. We could of stayed in a hotel for less.

We had a wonderful stay. As always staff is amazing. One thing to note, they are beginning to wind down for the winter. The bathroom near us was shut down without warning before our stay ended. Kind of a shock durning a "gotta go now moment". A bit of a trek to the next one........ especially in crisis.

Easy to get to, close to town, yet it feels like you are really out and away. River next to campground sets this campground firmly into the "great" category.

When we arrived Sept. 8 were advised the swimming pool was not open. Closed so early? Also, WIFI was very weak.

had a problem with loud motorcycles /and loud music and neighbors using a lot of foul language.. but we like the camp ground and will be back had a lot of yellow jackets this year need better control

OK—pool was already drained even though still warm. Sites very plain with little grass. River was pretty but no place to hang out beside the bank. This KOA needs investment but we have seen worse.

Went over labor day, 2 of us and have been to almost all of the KOA's in the PNW, this one was the most expensive and trying to justify the added expense is difficult. It was clean and well kept but not the nicest one we have been to. Location is quiet, by the river and not near a highway or railroad. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Overall enjoyed it and will probably be back.

We arrived 1 hr before check in time of 3:00 . They charged us an additional $10. To get into our campsite. The campground was 3/4 empty. This was charged .on top of the $84.95 plus taxes. On check out day we where sent a text 2 hrs before checkout time telling us we to make sure we where gone by 11:00. And the pool was dry. Won’t be staying in a KOA again

This was a 5 last year. All grass is dead, roads dusty and lots of hornets biting us. Too expensive for the uneven site we were in. We were unable to balance our RV due to drop off

been coming here for years, I use to love this place. It has a corporation feel, not a family friendly or accommodating Manager. Hate to see such a cool spot go so corporate, seems the main focus is getting the customer money not hospitality. Previous owners were fantastic and truly understood a family campground. Maybe try and hire a nicer manager, have better hours for the store and pool.

My family and I had a very good stay. Definitely one of the better KOA’s I’ve been too. Very clean. Also lots of fun things for the kids. Would highly recommend.

Very friendly staff. Bathrooms are well kept and very clean for a campground. Great place for kids, lots of activities to keep them busy. Great location right on the Methow river. The gift shop does not have much food or drink wise (no water, beer, or wine, so pack your own in). Campsites could use some green grass and we had a TON of yellow jackets to fight off.

Campground is very dusty, grass is dead, some trees are dead. People drive through the campground like it’s a freeway and nothing is done about it. Everything is covered with dust. Very disappointed especially after what it cost us!!

Our stay was good overall aside from the fact the fact that our campsite was right next to the dump so we had the smell of dump and trash around us.

We love Winthrop KOA - My dog loves to swim in the sleepy slow water of the river. Camp ground was vey clean and well cared for . Something we noticed this year - There were NO mosquitos!! Lovely . We will be back.

Everything is always kept up, bathrooms are clean and the kids have so much fun. I personally wish the pool was a lot warmer.

Nice, quiet, near the river, but no feasible river access. Sites 9 and 17 have private patios with hot tubs.
