Everything is always kept up, bathrooms are clean and the kids have so much fun. I personally wish the pool was a lot warmer.

We had a great time. We had the perfect campsite. Really enjoyed the river. Everyone at the office/store were incredibly nice and helpful.

Everything was good except we had something delivered there which we were told we could have it delivered there The office let me know package had arrived the at the counter was very rude she said we don't except packages I said ok my apologies she said it like 4 or 5 times everyone else was good

We have stayed in Winthrop many times but all in hotel/ motel scenarios so this was our first time in an RV . I’d have to say overall very happy with our stay , the campground itself was clean and staff very friendly. Pool was a plus but needs some tile repairs . Only negative is that I was charged an extra $10 to check in an hour or so early into an almost empty campground and we added a day 4

Lots of improvements since we were there last about 3 years ago. We understand it is difficult to irrigate grass with water restrictions and global warming. Overall we were very pleased. One comment, we would be interested in seeing some options for recycling. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Maiden Voyage. Everyone here was super helpful! The staff & other campers were all like one big happy family. Strangers greeting strangers like old friends. It was a wonderful atmosphere. Kids & parents having the time of their lives. Extremely clean park w/so much to do for the kids. I've already recommended to friends. Thanks for the advice & help. Yes we will be back!

It was kind of weird. Different people running the campground. Nice and friendly just unexpected. Not many campers which was odd as well. Cleaned and maintained as usual.

Had to pay an early check in fee, even though we were only an hour early and most of the campground was empty, including our spot. Had family that had arrived the day before us and was not aloud to park at their spot until our (empty) site was available without also paying a fee.

Great stay, clean, river front spots were amazing. My only complaint was no hot water when I showered, even in the middle of the day when use was much less than the busy times.

Clean campground with friendly and helpful staff. Bummer that the tubing shuttle is no longer running, hoping it makes a come back in future summers!

"Riverside" RV sites aren't as close to the river as one would think - and since the sites *right next* to the river are occupied you must walk nearly the length of the campground to get to the river entrance. Additionally, not really a good beach area - so I wouldn't pay extra for a riverside RV site considering you give up your sewer connection. Bugs galore, but they try hard to fix this!

This was once a nice KOA. The pictures show grass all we had was dirt and dead grass. Small pieces of garbage on the ground, fire pit was all busted up, and swimming pool had damage on the edges. Over priced stayed in a lot nicer campgrounds.

Had a wonderful time. The staff where all so good. I want to send a shout out to Eric, he was so helpful and understanding that we had to leave a day early and was able to provide a refund for us for our last day. The lady that checked us in also was so good (sorry forgot her name). The cabins where clean and it was alot of fun to stay in them. The bathrooms where always clean as well.

We were 4 weeks into an 8 week tour from SC to WA and this stop was our first with no planned activities. The campground was very relaxing, shady cool and comfortable.

We typically don’t stay at KOA campgrounds. But, we were bringing two of our grandkids with us, so we chose to book there because there was a pool, playground, and bounce pad for children. So it worked out great for that!

We enjoyed our stay! A lovely location right on the river. The pool was a welcome relief from the hot weather. Trail nearby to walk into Winthrop was nice. Planning to come back again!

Check in time was at 3pm which is the latest KOA time we have seen. Prices were also the highest than all other KOA's we have stayed at.

Convenient location and beautiful river sounds while you sleep, however very overpriced for a tent site with no power or water amenities on site. The smell of what smelt like sewerage was fairly consistent during our 14hr stay. We would suggest lowering your costs for the tent sites considerably.

This was our second visit to Winthrop. We like the park and it is a great location for the Methow Valley. only complaint is the site that we had. Site 22 has got to be the worse site in the park. Not only did we have to put up with the smell from the septic system our camping site is right in front of the public bathroom doors. I would suggest a fence separating site 22 from the bathroom.

We brought our grandson for a getaway before school starts. The Deluxe cabin was fantastic! We loved having our own private yard.

Hi everything was great. Staff is super friendly and we had a great time. There was a rowdy group of guys with a lot of profanity and driving too fast through the campground after hours. One big request…slightly larger trash cans in the bathrooms. Most were full and overflowing by days end.

We had a blast, playing in the river, swimming in the pool, we got to have some cotton candy, AND played in the mine and playground. Our 2 year old LOVED IT!!!! We will be back soon!!!

We had a great time. Love your campground. The only problem we had is the cherry tree in our campsite. The juice and cherries were all over everything we had there. Quite a miss!

We booked tent site with no hookup, and it seems like most of the tent sites with no hookup were having lot of dirt and no green grass or water sprouts in many places. Everyone needs to go near to office instead of this it should be places many places and greenery maintained across tent sites. Other than this location was good and amenities like pool and kids Jump pad was well maintained.

I know it’s hot and dry this time of year but the grass is too dry. Idea: eliminate the grass in many of the pull thru RV sites by putting down gravel resulting in less grass that requires water which would allow more water for remaining grass. I was in super site 17 and for some reason it is assigned a 30 amp outlet whereas site 18 which is supposed to be 30 amp is assigned the 50 amp outlet

Great place for families. Fun activities for kids and Winthrop is nice little western themed town to visit. Office staff was great. The only negative was the grass; it has been hot for quite a long time and was very dry and not well kept. We will return, beautiful area.

We had a wonderful time, and the campground is beautiful. Im sure we will be back, but possibly a different time of the year. It was very hot, thank goodness for all the wonderful trees.

The staff was great and the Wagons are awesome. It would have been nice to have the bikes out to peak kids interest but overall a great stay.

Love the ac cabins! Cabin 17 did have one issue. Unlike all other cabins, we either had a yard area or a parking spot, but not both. We put up our shade tent over the picnic table and it felt like it was in the road. Anyone could accidently run into our posts as they drive down the road. Also, there was no water spigot for our cabin. We had to use an RV sites water.

Nice, quiet, near the river, but no feasible river access. Sites 9 and 17 have private patios with hot tubs.
