Lots of campsites to choose from and we chose one that felt more private. The showers were hot and the grounds were well-maintained. Washrooms could be better maintained as there was leaking from a toilet.

We had a tent and stayed in the tenting area one night There was garbage and beer cans that we had to clean up. There was only an overflowing recycling and no garbage in proximity to our site. We asked for the recycling to be cleaned up and they did. Garbage under trees and grass, broken picnic table in adjoining siteThe washrooms were clean, laundry good, owners pleasant But not worth the stop

On returning from Calgary I decided to check out the KOA near Winnipeg as I have never been there and it is close to home! I was able to swim eat drink and chat with fellow tenters! So had a great time! The staff here was also great? So if I need a quick get away this site would be my choice?

Highway is loud. Not KOA problem I realize. Everything was reasonably clean. Was very nice to have a grass base for a tent.

We were tent camping. The woman at check in was courteous, friendly and helpful. Maybe more staff is needed to keep the washroom tidy, but it was clean. Other KOA places had showers with locked doors. I liked that better but your showers were clean and looked okay. We only stayed overnight and really enjoyed ourselves: good site near washrooms and we used the laundry machines. 99/100

Clean and modern bathroom that was well-maintained. Friendly and helpful staff. Highway noise which was loud when tent camping.

Maybe ok for RV but not for tents. Close proximity to the highway with Semi's running all night. No sound barrier. Impossible to sleep. Nothing to promote day stay other than the pool. Most boring campground ever. Not ever a deck to watch the river. All it is, is a night base.... Unless in a tent in which you can't sleep either.

Not a lot of shaded area for tenting and the dog play area was our least favourite out of the KOAs we’ve been to. Constant highway and train noises can be heard throughout the campground.

We arrived in late September so the stay was quiet even with the highway nearby. We had a wonderful Middle Eastern dinner, and were able to take a break from cooking. Thanks! There were clean bathrooms and friendly staff. We would definitely stay again since Winnipeg was very busy, and it was good to get out of town.

it was quite good and I would recommend KOA as a great place to camp. My only concern was being told that the washrooms near the office were locked at 9pm when they weren't and the grass needed to be cut as it was very long and wet to walk through to get to the above mentioned washrooms.

People in front office/store were very friendly and helpful. The pool was nice and clean. Also had a splash pad for the little ones to enjoy. Easy to pitch tent and park car next to site. On the flip side, it definitely needed more restrooms (toilets) and showers. At one point one of 4 possible toilets was down. Also, they may want to ensure sites are clean between uses.

Nice campground, all the amenities you need and a pool too (although I didn’t use it). Shower /bathrooms were nice and clean. A bit noisy in a tent as it is right next to the highway and train lines which are busy all night, but I knew that when booking, so no big deal! Office staff were super helpful! Thanks!

No water available at the group tenting site which was propsed for individual tenting. Reason given was that “tenters only use a little amount of water”. There was no kitchen shelter for tenters.

Wasn’t expecting to be connected to a gas station, I guess that’s on me for not doing enough research. The ‘tent site’ was just an open field with standing water and un-mowed grass. We got absolutely ravaged by mosquitoes within 5 minutes. Plant some trees for shade and privacy and keep the long grass and standing water to a minimum if you want that to be an enjoyable tent site. Everything looked nice, was only there 8hrs overnight. However I hardly slept at all due to the highway noise and lights. Good place if you have a RV or Motor-home but bad for tent camping.

Had reservations and said I had a tent. When I got to the camp I was told the tent sites were wet and gave me a site that meant I had to set my tent up on a gravel pad. I was told the bathrooms weren’t set up yet and would not have a bathroom to use after 9 pm when he closed. I found a piece of grass and set up my tent. I got up in the morning he wasn’t open so no bathroom. First time at a K

Pleasant and helpful staff. But - Lots of highway noise (not uncommon for campgrounds, but still not positive) and rather ratty facilities - not at the level we expect from KOA.

I was there to sleep use facilities, shower and eat my picnic dinner I stayed from 8:45 at night to 6 am the showers were locked the whole time even though it says the washrooms and showers are open 24 hours only the washroom were.

As I first time KOA member, I was very disappointed in the overall run down condition of the whole place. I hope this is not typical. I am staying at another KOA In a couple days. If it is the same it will be my last. The place is obviously neglected. A little maintenance and upkeep would go a long way

Staff is super-friendly & helpful! Grounds are very family-friendly: there is a play structure for kids, and there are many places/areas to walk your pets.

This koa is a good facility where we have stayed in the past. We hope to stay again when it can be completely safe and open, and free from drought. Nice people friendly and helpful. Proper services and close to the city.

Really friendly, helpful staff. I was there the first day after a long weekend so the place was still a bit of a shambles but the grounds crew were working really hard to complete the cleanup. A shame campers can all be thoughtful about the mess the create and don't clean up.

The owners were very pleasant, however the campsite itself was substandard for a KOA. The tent sites were not flat, quite a distance from the amenities. The camp grounds were overall unkept and the shower had not recently been cleaned. My overall opinion was very negative, on my list of KOA’s to never visit again.

I was tired and they helped me with a nice spot for my tent and a hot meal for a very good price. Very polite and enthusiastic.

Staff very friendly at check-in. The campground requires alot of maintenance. One of the bathroom doors did not lock, bathroom/shower lights operate by switch, therefore dark at night (did not feel safe going into a dark building and having to grope for a light in the middle of the night). Pool looks like it has been totally abandoned, not undergoing repairs. Bar soap and no sanitizer.

It's very early in the season and not everything was open. It was too cold to tent, so we just stayed in our van. They opened the washrooms in the office building for us to use, as the campground washrooms weren't open yet. The owners were terrific and accommodating.

Tent sites too far from bathrooms. We were was assigned a tent site, some one was in it, advised the check in staff and was given a You have 2 heads look. Told the staff we were moving to another site. Bathrooms were tidy but did not look clean- this was concerning especially during this time. NONE OF THE BATHROOM DOORS LOCKED, one did not even latch !

There was no shelving or counter space in the washrooms to put anything. There was no outlet in the ladies washroom for a hairdryer. The grounds were very poorly kept; grass was not cut. Owners had a dog that was outside and barking early in the morning. Despite these issues we would stay there again as the place was relatively clean and quiet.

Expensive, but you couldn't ask for a better hookup situation. Very easy to get in and out of. Staff are super friendly. Easy access right off the highway (you do hear the highway at night).

Our first time was beginning summer. We went back 2 more times for week both times. Took our family out the last time . The bathroom and showers are kept very clean we loved it. Will be going back alot more next year. Thank you Management you are wonderful people
