...For the first time in my 61 years of camping I asked, "When does the band stop playing?" I was passing through and needed a place to pitch a tent and was caught-off-guard by KOA's resort-like mentality. As a backpacker used to remote camping, KOA is not geared towards me. So take no heed to my low rating. Keep doing what you're doing. You're getting people outdoors.

No problems. Just thought I was told the space I was on was plenty long for me but I had to unhook my car hauler to be able to level my rig due to the space running downhill.

We absolutely love NMKOA! It is peaceful. Staff is friendly and campers are very outgoing.

nice campground.. Except they charge extra for the jump pad and miniature golf.. This should be included.. Also golf carts should be able to go either way on the roads.. The one way rule is rediculous.. There is enough room to pull over if you see a vehicle coming.. I understand it for vehicles but not golf carts..

We have been coming for years and for the most part come 2x/year. I'm really shocked to see the price up to $90/night next year. We will only be able to afford to come 1x/year now and if the rates go up any more, we probably won't come at all. What warrants that kind of an increase over the years? Greed. Sorry to see that here. Our favorite place.

Stayed in a deluxe cabin. Bathroom area really small. Would of liked a larger fridge. One MAJOR complaint. Since we stayed closest to the playground/activity areas, it was a HUGE pain to take the golf cart ALL the way around the campground to get there. I understand about the one-way for vehicles, but there should be an exception for golf-carts. Overall, good 2nd stay at this campground.

Enjoyed a family reunion with 20 people (6 families) coming from Maryland and New York State. Enjoyed DK1 and DK2 Cabins with one RV and 3 travel trailers located on surrounding sites. Had a blast with the Float your Boat and Family Olympics activities. The cabins were set up nicely and it was great to all be together in one area. Thank you!!

Very nice, but sites are pretty close together which doesn't allow for much privacy. Did appreciate how easy to change sites when we were not happy with first site. Great campground for kids.

Very nice campground with ample amenities. Large, clean pool, Decent bath house. Shuffleboard and basketball. What was advertised as a soccer field wasn't really, but it was a nice large flat field you could kick a ball around. Petting zoo would be a hit with the kiddies. Even got a visit from a handful of "free range chickens" one evening at the campsite. We'd definitely go back.

The entire park was awesome. We had no idea how big it was. The staff was very polite and very helpful and friendly. We will definitely being staying again soon. My wife and I never knew there was such a great place to camp so close to home.

We told the office that we could barely access their wireless and they said no one had problems with it. They need to recheck their signals — we were in the closest pull thru to the office and could only get two bars if we were outside of the rv. Inside the rv, we couldn’t pickup the signal.

We have always enjoyed our stay but this year 3 of or grandchildren got hurt by water balloons! One got hit in mouth had a swollen lip others had welts from balloons. Internet did not work. We still enjoy your campground and will return.

I wish Super Soaker weekend had a few more activities planned. Maybe a rowing or paddle board competition in the pond, karaoke, water balloon tag or water gun tag, tug of war into the pool or pond…. I remember Saw Mill Fest weekends as a kid with TONS of activities. I was expecting something more like that. The kids enjoyed when the fire truck & gaga ball, but I’d like more family activities.

I felt that water day last Saturday was a bad idea. Some of the children in our group got hurt, people went way overboard.

We enjoy every single thing about this KOA!! We have been coming for about 8 years now and have never had a bad experience! Water Wars weekend is the absolute best weekend of the summer. We got ice cream every day, swam every day, and enjoyed all the activities offered. Thanks for always being so amazing!!

The sites are tree covered which was great because of the high heat. Each site is also very big. We had plenty of room for our RV and our car. AND then we had a huge area with a picnic table, fire ring, and more. I have never been to a KOA that has had such big sites. NICE!

We stayed in 2023 for one of the Halloween weekends, and we've already booked for July of 2024. Many events and activities for the whole family. The campground has a very fun atmosphere, and still offers the relaxed setting you'd want for a getaway "in the woods". They have a nice mix of itinerant campers and long-term renters who go all-out to decorate their sites. We've looked at a lot of KOA campgrounds and these folks consistently offer one of the best experiences.

This is a great campground with lots of activities for Adults & children. Most of the sites are in good condition with decent amount of room.
