My only complaint is there was too much chlorine in the pool. We could smell it Friday night from the restrooms, and the kids eyes were burning long after they got out on Saturday. The pool was also “not heated” although advertised as heated on the website. On a positive note, Esther in the office made us feel so special! She was very attentive to the kids during the special events.

The staff were great and super friendly! The pool, restrooms and other common areas were very clean. We had to call a security two times at night because of the group next to us were extremely loud until 4am. The security came immediately both times, and acted very professional.The only thing, if such a guests brake rules and don’t respect other people repeatedly- I would ban them from the campi

Staff was so friendly. Everything clean and pleasant. The pitched tent on the wood platform was big, clean and weathered the storm without a hitch. Pool was great.

We tent camped and the light shining through my tent was absolutely terrible, it was like sleeping in daylight.

I recently stayed at a KOA campsite and I was thoroughly impressed. The staff was friendly and helpful, the facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the location was beautiful. I enjoyed the variety of amenities available, such as the swimming pool, playground, and hiking trails. Overall, my experience at the KOA campsite was fantastic and I would highly recommend it to fellow campers.

Our group had an amazing time! Nice pool and playground area for the kids, lovely pancake breakfast on Sunday morning, and enjoyed hearing the lions roar in the morning. We had the best time at Lion Country Safari between the drive-through safari, the water park, and all the other activities. We will do this again!

Very clean camp ground. The tents were spacious. Pool and park clean. Employees were very friend and informative. The Lion Safari next door is perfect if you have kids.We did the drive thru in the morning, came home had lunch, did the drive thru again, and then stayed the day at the water park! Definitely will be returning.

We visit every year with our Cub Scout Pack. We like to book the primitive area so that the kids have more space to run around. The staff and amenities are wonder.

Staff did not notify us of pancake breakfast upon arrival, and one Koa man was very rude at the breakfast. That is why I gave 4 star. Pool was sparkling Clean, bathrooms/showers were very clean! Tent site was mostly sand, but clean. We had a great time!

Stayed in a safari tent. Great setup with clean dry deck, tent and screen in perfect condition. Electricity and water at tentsite worked great. Nice heated pool, excellent shuffleboard, horseshoes, pickleball, etc. Great shower room. Discount of $13 per person for Lion Country Safari. And the best most unique part of all- HEARING THE LIONS ROAR FROM INSIDE THE TENT IN THE MORNING.

Unfortunately the 1st night the Pavillion had an event which was suppose to end at 10 but the noise in the parking lot continued until almost 10:45 pm. Tent stays being right beside the event don't work with the thin walls. But other then that the place is super clean and a great location.

The staff was welcoming and friendly. The site we had however had many trees and I could barely fit my tent as well as car on the site. I counted 7 trees in my site, 4 in the middle and made parking hard. Having a large tree in the middle made most of the ground tough to tent on due to roots. I don’t believe the cost is worth that particular site when others sites were much more clear and usable

We had a great time staying in the Safari tent! Lots to do, the bathrooms were clean and easily accessible. My only concerns and recommendations are, perhaps a sweep out the tents prior to guest arriving. The flag chain in front of the Check in building kept hitting the pole all night,it was very hard to sleep (wind).People were noisy past10:00 PM quiet time that was mentioned on the pamphlet.

I would give it 5 stars, but during our stay they were having the showers painted so we weren’t able to shower 3.5 days out of the 5 days we stayed there. I asked if we were going to get a discount considering that’s basically 1 of 3 reasons to stay at a KOA in the first place. The answer was no, pretty disappointed about that, otherwise the place was nice and we did have a good stay!

hate to say how great this place is becuz I want it all to myself!..... but that would not be nice. I luv this campground. it is amazing and never a let down: campground & facilities always clean, lots of things to do at the campground and near by. RV, tent, cabins, avail. & pre constructed tents just waiting there for your arrival. every trip is better than the last. ENJOY getting outdoors!

The campground is really clean. My only complaint is this is the first campground I've ever stayed in that bathrooms weren't close to the tent area. I've tent camped from east to west and north to south campgrounds and this was a first.

Well we never did hear any lions. But that's probably because the tent section was all the at the front of the park furthest away from the animals. Sorta crappy the camping has turned into an r.v park it wasn't like that when I went as a kid. I'm not sure if I will come back it was way over priced. Also I love bingo and the front desk staff never mentioned a game would be held at 7pm that evening.

Hi, I would like a refund for the night of 2-18. at Lion Country Safari. It’s 12:30 a.m. and there’s music playing loudly throughout the campground and has been for hours. Prior to this there was a party held for about 4 hours next to the office where the entire campground was subjected to loud music and hours of karaoke. This place was amazing. I honestly don't see how this place wasn't packed out. Great pool and other play areas. We stayed there for half a week, but we plan on going back because everything was amazing and the area was great. Kids had an amazing time. You really can hear the animals next door like monkeys and lions. Very unique and cool. Staff very friendly. Place very clean. Pool crystal clear.
