It is the largest and cleanest KOA I have ever stayed in. Very friendly and efficient! I especially love hearing the wild animals at night.

We have stayed at this campground for one month and have enjoyed it very much as it is a not so huge campground like so many others, very quiet. I would give it a 5-star if the WiFi would be better. Our devices were regularly disconnected from the signal, and it was kind of annoying. The company who runs the system has no clue and they couldn't fix the problem either. We will be back though.

We loved staying at Lion Country Safari KOA because of the friendly staff, beautiful property, and waking up to the sound of lions roaring and monkey chatter! It really was a true safari experience!

Our first time here and we really liked it. Layout was welcoming - curved roads allowed for uniquely spaced generously sized campsites no regimented straight parking lot feel here. The morning serenade of animal sounds from Lion Country Safari was charming. And they RECYCLE! So rare and most welcome. The pool was large and beautiful. We will be back.

Definitely a very unique experience hearing the monkeys and lions daily. The Safari park is so nice. The camp sites are tight, ours was littered with cigarette butts and other trash in the grass. We are two adults traveling with no kids, we picked this campground because it’s relatively close to family so most days we went out and didn’t use the amenities. Great camp store. Really nice staff

3 WEEK STAY. EVERY STAFF MEMBER WAS COURTEOUS AND HELPFUL. THE SITE WAS ROOMY. WE HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH NOISE FROM OTHER CAMPERS. SHOPPING WAS 3 MILES AWAY. OVERALL IT WAS A GREAT TIME.

Staff is first class. Site and amenities are clean and ready. I don’t take this for granted in todays camping world. Nice work folks!

This was our sixth consecutive year staying at the Lion Country Safari KOA. During that time we've had nothing but positive thoughts & experiences each year. The park has always been well maintained by the park staff. The office staff have been very welcoming over the years. And Kathy, the park manager, tries to ensure that each and every guest enjoys an enjoyable & comfortable stay while there.

Stayed the month and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The lions roaring during the day and night was a unique aspect of the stay. We bought the 4 month pass and very much enjoyed our many trips into the safari. The price was more than double what we normally pay for a month but for a one time stay was worth it.

It was our stay here and we Absolutley loved hearing the lions and monkeys. The staff all were very helpful and kind. Mike is a very knowable man informing us of the history of the safari ! Highly recommend if your in southern Florida to stay at the KOA!

Great location, friendly staff. Large sites with grass and trees where you can hear the animals from inside the Lion Country Safari Park. Those staying at KOA and who purchase Lion Country tickets get in and out privileges for the day which was a great advantage!

We stayed 3 days with out our daughter and another family and unfortunately it rained and our site was in mud the whole time. We were unable to enjoy our site and found ourselves setting up camp at our friends site next door. Site 189 is low lying and gets flooded easily. Also the view from our camper wasn’t the best. We backed a storage area for campers and trailers.

This was my first time camping and was happy we selected Lion Safari camping. It was great, throughly enjoyed it, will come again.

It was our first camp in the new RV, site was spacious, with concrete patio and picnic table with seats, hookups were good 50/30/15. Water pressure ok, sewer connection good, but needed a donut for tight connection, close to the park, where we heard the lions roaring and monkeys howling. Plenty of space for the truck and rv, lots of things to do, unfortunately rained all the time.

Unlike other rv campgrounds, KOA doesn’t have an enclosed area for children to play if it’s rainy; other campgrounds offer ping pong tables, scavenger hunts, family activities, to name a few. This park is more expensive that most others that have offered this, the staff is easily annoyed when asked questions (no smiles), the WiFi is unstable. Pool is nice, and monkey/lion sounds were great.

This place was amazing. I honestly don't see how this place wasn't packed out. Great pool and other play areas. We stayed there for half a week, but we plan on going back because everything was amazing and the area was great. Kids had an amazing time. You really can hear the animals next door like monkeys and lions. Very unique and cool. Staff very friendly. Place very clean. Pool crystal clear.
