We had a great time with my daughter, her boyfriend & my 2 grandkids. The cabins, pool, grounds & bathroom were all very nice & clean. The only thing we would have like was coffee available earlier.. maybe 8 am.

It was a very nice stay. We enjoyed the pool, the playground, and the lion safari right next door! we will definitely stay here again.

Staff was welcoming and helpful. Very clean and well maintained campground. Campground is easy to get in and out of. Great location to stay with the family and enjoy Lion Country Safari.

1st things 1st-staff working here have the to be NICEST, MOST HELPFUL &WELCOMING PEOPLE I HAVE EVER MET! This was our 1st experience camping &bc of the staff, we're looking forward to our next visit. Mike &Juli were especially phenomenal! Juli was always ready with a genuine smile &so much grace &Mike...WOW. He saved us from every newbie struggle, drove us to the safari &constantly checked in.

The staff were super friendly, and very courteous. Restroom facilities were very clean and well maintained. Would have liked the path leading to the main trash can to be more lit, and have a surface that didn’t flood as easily during heavy rains.

A little pricey, but they are taking care of all those animals. This has been our fourth visit, I missed the elephants.

Our group had an amazing time! Nice pool and playground area for the kids, lovely pancake breakfast on Sunday morning, and enjoyed hearing the lions roar in the morning. We had the best time at Lion Country Safari between the drive-through safari, the water park, and all the other activities. We will do this again!

The camp and staff are excellent. Of course access to the Safari Park makes it all so special. Having been to Africa four times it’s wonderful to see a mini Africa in Florida. It’s obvious the animals are well taken care of and healthy. Well done.

The staff was very kind and friendly. It was really the facility itself that gets the low scores. We stay at alot of state parks and KOA properties. I have to say that this property really needs some love, attention, upgrades, and maintenance. The campsites are just worn out. Other than the basic pool, there are no amenities for the rates being charged. The facility needs help.

We camp at this KOA campground several times a year.......This weekend there was a group of about 100 plus Boys and Girls (young aged to teenage) Club camping in tents. They basically took over the playground, the pool All day Saturday, and totally destroyed the men's shower room and bathrooms to where they could not be used due to the filth and destruction. I wish we had not booked this weekend

Very clean camp ground. The tents were spacious. Pool and park clean. Employees were very friend and informative. The Lion Safari next door is perfect if you have kids.We did the drive thru in the morning, came home had lunch, did the drive thru again, and then stayed the day at the water park! Definitely will be returning.

I don’t think that there is enough space here for me to offer my rating of this particular KOA. I’ll be brief. From the manager Kathy and her husband Larry to ABSOLUTELY EVERYONE who works in the office and EVERYONE who works the grounds, I could not be more appreciative of their service, attitude and the way their customers are treated. I have stayed in 117 campgrounds. This is #1 in the US

Easy in and out (helps to be in the off season.) Would be nice if more sites had shade. But friendly staff and it's great to hear the lions "talking" in the morning.

We had a wonderful stay! The campsite was large. The pool was awesome. The campground was very quiet (besides the cool lions roaring in the distance). We look forward to visiting again soon. The staff was exceptional, especially Carol (?) and Margaret, all the ladies in the office were very nice!

Loved the location of this KOA, in it was close to Lion Safari. People at office were very friendly. Dog areas were not very big or confined. Sites were acceptable but nothing fancy. I would go there again to see safari.

The KOA staff is amazing! The location is great. We loved the unique experience staying at Lion Country Safari. Although close enough to walk to the walk-through park, I don’t recommend walking there. We were so close, but it was torture to walk. There is no direct path and you have to walk in the road. The campsites were also very packed and lower quality than I’m used to for this price point

Clean facilities and excellent staff!! we felt safe with the keypad locks on the bathroom doors also. We were here years ago and this time just seemed so much better with great improvements. Excellent vacation!!

Very clean campground. Right next to Lion Country Safari- which is one of the reasons we came. We can hear some animals at random times, the kids thought that was cool. Bathrooms/ showers were always clean- there is a code for them. The kids enjoyed the pool and playground (it is very small but they do have one), plus basketball courts and volleyball courts- you can sign a ball out at the store.

AMAZING STAY! .. We pulled in and before I could even step out of my truck, we were met by, I believe his name was Mike,. Welcome to KOA do you have a reservation? He showed us to the site and said and call if we need anything. The camp grounds were beautiful, the staff was amazing! everyone was super nice and helpful. This was our first visit to a KOA and our first visit with our new camper.

We had a great time at Lion Country KOA! The Lion Country Adventure Park was so fantastic, especially the drive through safari. We started the day with the drive, and saw so many beautiful animals including lions, rhinoceros, giraffes, ostriches, water buffalo, and countless antelope. Don’t miss the audio tour that tells about the park and the animals. You can hear the lions from the campground

This place was amazing. I honestly don't see how this place wasn't packed out. Great pool and other play areas. We stayed there for half a week, but we plan on going back because everything was amazing and the area was great. Kids had an amazing time. You really can hear the animals next door like monkeys and lions. Very unique and cool. Staff very friendly. Place very clean. Pool crystal clear.
