Very dIsappointed with quality of Wifi - just for looking things up on internet, no streaming even attempted- and especially compared other KOAs and newness of this location. Cable clarity very fuzzy no matter what remedies we used to improve it. Last: You need additional and more visible (larger) EXIT signs when leaving remote sites, like #31.

Campground was nice. Grass was extremely high and should have been cut prior to Memorial Day weekend. Staff was nice, but very inexperienced and short-handed. Unavailability of kayak and boat rentals on a holiday weekend inexcusable.

Never saw the bathrooms cleaned nor the laundry. Washers don’t fill with enough water to co Ed clothes. Tree fell down in storm and laid in road for 3 days. Dumpsters overflowing. Memeorial weekend, I understand but Really??

Only issue was the two TV’s had one remote with no back on it and no batteries. Neither TV worked. But the place was very clean and was a fun place to stay with the family! Will be back.

Our stay was great! We hope to make this a yearly thing for our family, it was a great time!! There were some things not working in the cabin that we rented, we let the folks working know and they seemed to know about it already. Like the stove top, not working. They did have skillet in there, but thats not really the same as a stove top, so it would have been nice to have that working.

We rented the deluxe cabin in May,13-14,it was a warm weekend,we had fun,we fished,they swam in the lake,yes in May,the water toys weren't out yet but we still had fun,Thanks to Matt and Amy,and staff for a wonderful weekend.HappyCampers�

We were given a spot that was barely big enough for our camper & vehicle. WiFi needs improvement. Friends of ours asked for the spot next to ours and were told no because they were all booked up, yet there was no one in that spot during our visit. Playground could be bigger/more equipment. Other than that, it’s a very nice campground. Nice walking trail and convenience store.

So many things to do. Wonderful trees. Sites well-maintained. Manager Matt helped us resolve some RV issues we were having. Our grands loved the playground and the lake.

I was extremely disappointed that we arrived on Friday of Memorial Day weekend to grass at our campsite between 7-9 inches tall. I went to talk with the front desk staff and was told they were short staffed and they would note my request for our site #44 to be mowed. We borrowed a lawn mower from someone who lived in waterloo and mowed our own campsite. Never saw an employee at the site to mow.

The layout is very nice and I liked the theme of the park. The employees that checked us in and out were very nice but there were a couple workers who weren't the friendliest. It was nice that they had gas/diesel pumps right there but the shutoff on the diesel wasn't working and we ended up paying for a couple gallons that went on the ground. No offer of a refund.

The water park wasn’t open yet but it looked large. The campsite was large and level. Checking in was easy and the staff was helpful and friendly.

We use the KOA campgrounds as a simple weekend getaway. It is clean and always well kept.

The KOA was nice and spacious. The staff was friendly. Wish the store had better souvenirs/shirts for being a Resort. Only style available was a yellow screen print. The dog park was at a nice central location and well stocked. The water park portion was misleading as it wasn’t actually part of the park, or open during the holiday weekend visit.

We stay here on our way north every year. We can count on this KOA to be well kept. Only problem we have had is with cable connection. Not a major problem as we only stay one night.

We have stayed at the Lost Island KOA there in Waterloo Iowa several times over...each time, we enjoy greatly. The spots are nice, clean campground, good staff to help, just a nice place to stay.We will be back again :o)

Our cabin had only 1 heater that worked so it was cold, the mattress wasn’t very comfortable, hot water only partially worked in shower and the fan/vent didn’t work in the bathroom either. No soap for the bathroom. Wasn’t terrible but wasn’t great either.

We are a retired couple, did a one night stay, loved everything, people were very nice , friendly and helpful. Thank you, we have already passed a brochure to our daughter and family. They love doing the entertainment like your park provides.

It really needed to be mowed. We came home covered in bug bites on our ankle. They said they were short help so couldn’t deliver wood or pickup trash like other koas do.

Did you like 10 dollar fee for in person reservation there was 2 people available when we signed up camp ground was very nice there was less activities this year

Positives, nice location and sites. Negatives: bathrooms were nothing short of disgusting. I’m glad my tetanus shot was up to date. Didn’t look like the restrooms had been cleaned in days, at least not thoroughly. There was mold/mildew on the walls of every shower stall. The shower wand in the handicapped shower didn’t work. Also, the grass was way over due for a mowing. Very disappoint

This was our 1st camping experience and it was the BEST! The weather was perfect, the KOA was beautiful. We had so much fun. We were hoping to rent a paddle boat and water trikes, but the rentals were not available until June. That really didn't matter though, my daughter was able to walk across to the island. It truly was an amazing experience all around. We will definitely be back!

Wasn’t excited about having a spot that wasn’t mowed. There were plenty of sites that were mowed. Everything else was great. Kids loved the movie and breakfast.

Stayed at RV site towards the front. Nice level site. Site by hill aren't leveled/cut down. Slant down with hill. Saw gas or diesel pumps on site.

Very well maintained and attractive facility. Close to attractions, entertainment, groceries, and the highway. Over all pretty quiet, some occasional road noise. Sites are level and relatively spacious. Staff were very friendly and helpful, but not bothersome. Price is a bit higher than other areas nearby. Overall I was very happy with my stay and would stay there again.
