Grass needed to be mowed by the golf course. Too much goose droppings on the beach. Bathrooms were clean. The only thing this campground had going for it was the nearness of other attractions.

This is a great KOA to spend a few days at. We just did an overnight as we passed through from the west going east. There is a VERY convenient gas station on their property. Also, a LARGE camp store filled with all you would need for a stay. You can also have a PIZZA made in their restaurant on site and we did : ) We highly recommend this KOA, its one of the best we stayed in all summer out west.

Our water pump leaked and we had to keep turning it off to prevent flooding the campsite. On the map and online it didn't show the large fenced structure that blocked our view (#69). It may have been the large amount of algea in the lake, but there were no paddle boat or kayak rentals.

we stay last year and it was awesome, the beach area was clean, had themed nights at day activities, swim area of the pond algae free. This year the there was geese poop all over the beach area, beer tops, and garbage in the sand. I was lucky I had a rake with me and could clean an area for the grandchildren, water was full of algae. No activities for children, many dogs and dog poop

Great campground. Great location. Great facilities. My only issue was trying to pay for a late checkout (I was going to leave late in the afternoon and would have paid for an extra night) and the woman couldn’t ring it up with my KOA discount. But the campground itself is great—they even have a gas station on site. Very convenient.

They put an extra charge on our account without telling us. I have talked to the office 3 times and they keep saying that management will call me but no one has contacted me. Very frustrating.

We rented 3 cabins, we have stayed there for 5 years in a row. Cabins are definitely going down hill. There was no working smoke alarm in cabin DK9 (sleeps 8 people), the floors were filthy, the beach was covered in goose poop, the attendant said someone cleaned the beaches twice weekly- you would have thought would have been on weekend but no. I cleaned up the poop myself. $25.00 towel exchang

We only stayed one night to visit family in the area, but we want to come back again for a long weekend next summer. The sites were well maintained and the pads were mostly level already and the were super big. The bathrooms looked new or redone, and the campground was very clean. We wanted to play in the sand, but it was raining when we found time. Great place. We will come back!

We stayed here last at the same time. The beach was so nice and clean. This year we stayed again for a week for my son birthday because the kids could go to the beach. It was so dirty, the beach was full of goose poop. The water didn't look treated like it did last year. Last year it wasn't like that at all so it was disappointing

I liked that there weren't managers coming around the site being restrictive. There were no shade trees. The "lake" wasn't more than knee deep so not really swimming. Lots of goose poop on the beach but not sure what they can do about that. Liked that there were lounge chairs and umbrellas on the beach. The bike path around the lake was nice.

We had a camper and lived the site. Very nice outdoors recreation like disc gulf, biking, walking/running path. The beach however was full of goose poop and the water was very mosey. In the past it was treated for the algae, would like to see it again. Maybe offer rakes or the facility rake the goose poop so we don’t step on it every time.

You should consult USDA wildlife about mitigating your goose problem that is causing unsanitary conditions.

Great place with nice sites that are very nicely spread apart....In talking with the General manager it seems he is doing all he can do being short staffed. Laundry needed cleaning and the lake needs some help....otherwise Great place!!

Very clean and well kept KOA. There’s actually a gas station on premises - very convenient. Very close to a water park and a Casino. Nice space between sites. Did not use facilities. Plenty for kids to do.

The check in staff was not on the ball. I showed up and they asked what they could do for me. I have an a RV and I have a reservation. I would like to check in. Park employees were not very friendly.

We love that when we are ready to leave you have all the things we need gas, ice, food, snacks etc. Our second time here and we will be back again when traveling to your area.

The campground is very well located; near the water park and amusement park, which we liked very much. It was quiet as well. The biggest complaint I have is that there was sooo much goose poop on the beach that it was essentially unusable during our stay. There is no pool and only a small playground for kids. It really limited our kids in finding things to do. Otherwise very nice. Thank you!

The campground was great. We liked the large level sites and the wide roads were easy to navigate. The location was great, being close to stores and waterpark. The staff was very friendly and the park is well maintained. Easy access to the highway, with onsite gas station. The only negative was that the restrooms weren't cleaned on Sunday, so the men's restroom was out of toilet paper all day.

Large sites and great location if you are enjoying the near by water park, amusement park, or music venue. My only disappointment was the excuse of under staffed to get food delivery to my site. But that was the least of my worries.

For the price I paid per night, I expected the cabin to be clean. The yellow door was black from dirt/grime. The floor was very dirty. Mold growing in both air conditioners, worse on the kitchen air conditioner. Most all surfaces were covered in a layer of dirt. The ceiling fan looks as though its never been cleaned. Blinds were filthy. I cleaned for hours. Cabin DK3 is FILTHY!!!!

We usually stay every year, this year the park looked extremely dingy. The grass wasn't mowed, the beach looks terrible. Our large bed was so worn, we went to the middle. TV's didn't work. We were in a group, we were not together as requested. Other guests were told they didn't have cabins available on certain dates and they were. Just very disappointed this year.

My wife and I have stayed at your KOA in the past when we came out from California to visit our kids and other family. We had a family reunion in your pavilion that was a great time. We are now residents here in Iowa. And continue to use your KOA due to having a concrete slab poured in our backyard. We love it because it’s very clean and peaceful. We will definitely recommend it to our family.

What a beautiful campground. Beautiful grass area. We requested to be close to the dog park and our request was granted. Large dog park for our dogs and it was clean. We were just passing through but would definitely stay again if ever in the area. Park was quiet at night.

We stayed here a couple years ago and had a great stay. Camped there this year and the lake water was so gross. Didn't dare try to swim in it. Also sucks that if you spend all day at the amusement park or waterpark there's no time to rent any boats, etc. when you get back since they stop doing that at 7pm.

Stayed at RV site towards the front. Nice level site. Site by hill aren't leveled/cut down. Slant down with hill. Saw gas or diesel pumps on site.

Very well maintained and attractive facility. Close to attractions, entertainment, groceries, and the highway. Over all pretty quiet, some occasional road noise. Sites are level and relatively spacious. Staff were very friendly and helpful, but not bothersome. Price is a bit higher than other areas nearby. Overall I was very happy with my stay and would stay there again.
