Good for an overnight stop but very noisy with traffic from the interstate and planes.

The manager was very pleasant. The sites were easy to access. Due to it being off season, many amenities were not available, which was understandable. The sites are mostly gravel and dirt, very little grass. The other major down side is the really loud traffic noise. Otherwise everything was good!

We booked for the Halloween weekend done it for over 10 years because of the attractions they had for the kids. We were expecting the same this year. But found out there was new management and all of the attractions were canceled. Would have been nice to know things changed and gave the option to cancel. We looked forward to how things were in prior years. Very disappointed

Great location. The park was very clean. The site was excellent. The staff person was wonderful. We will definitely stay at this location again.

the managers and staff are amazing! very helpful and friendly. we were there for two months and a lot was being cleaned and repaired/upgraded while there.

The stay was excellent. Although the office was closed, the onsite campground personnel provided excellent customer service. I was able to buy propane, and use KOA points to extend my stay by an additional night. The campground personnel also provided helpful advice regarding winterizing my RV. Th3e only reason I rated a 4 rather than 5 for the campground is that I visited in the off season.

We only stayed for one night in our RV to go to a medical appointment at Johns Hopkins. It's very easy to find right off the highway. Quiet campground with few trees in the RV parking area. There are lovely little cabins for rent around the wooded area. I would recommend staying here. The owner was very accommodating and friendly.

Staff was amazing checked in with us in the morning being we were late arrival the night before. Very welcoming and attentive. Definitely returning being close to family and a very nice facility.

We have been coming here since 1996. Close to great seafood, The Capitol and sights but still in the quiet woods and everything the country has to offer. Thank you for another enjoyable stay as we travel up (or this time down) the coast. You never disappoint, JOnTariO

Nice place. Well kept. It was very cold outside so most of the amenities were not available. Probably a fun place in the summer. The store closed at 3:00 which seemed a little early. It is close to home so we will go back.

Very nice staff!! Site was long and easy to get into with our big rig!! Close to shopping, restaurants, food stores. We will definitely be back!!

Sites were smaller than expected. Activities for Halloween weekend were exceptional and creative and fun for our visiting grandchildren. Facilities were clean and well taken care of.

We had a very good seven night stay at the Capitol South KOA. It is just a short 10 minute drive to the Odenton MARC train station which has free parking and just a $14 roundtrip fare to Union Station in D.C. Annapolis is also just a 20 minute drive. Chris, the onsite manager was excellent and very attentive to a couple of needs we had during our stay. We would look to stay here again.

We had a great stay! The new managers were very friendly and helpful. It’s not a fancy campground and there is some noise from the surrounding highways but it is clean and well-maintained. Despite having limited staff due to the off-season, the bathrooms were clean, and the store was well-stocked with essentials. We will definitely be back next year.

Really like this camp ground, site was so I leveled and really challenging to get into spot…I guess paying to secure site is a must here. Upset when level sites sat empty all weekend.

We have a Class A Motorhome and had an overnight stay. We arrived after hours and were met by the manager. He was very personable and escorted us to our site. The park was very clean and the sites were a good size. We did not use the facilities. We would return.

It was a nice campground. It was 30 minutes from Washington DC, but it was easy to get there from this campground. The staff was helpful with parking RV’s in Washington, and very friendly. It was a great place to stay.

We come every Halloween and it is so much fun for the kids and adults. Lots of activities for the kids and we love decorating the site. Very friendly staff and sites are well maintained. This was the first year our friends rented a cabin and they loved it! Very clean and cozy & warm and the beds were comfortable. Next year we have 3 cabins and two RV sites for the whole family and grand kids.

Excellent location, close to Fort Meade, they have cottages and a tiny house, staff were very helpful. Location is convenient.

We camp here often when we come to MD to visit family. Always receive great service from all employees and the park is always a fun place for the grandkids to visit us here. As we plan to leave the campground in the morning I need to mention how Candy and her husband went way above to help me after my husband became hospitalized during this visit. They offered help with anything i needed and even dumped my tanks when needed.. I can't thank them enough. See you again soon Brenda (and Joe) Turner
