This is a wonderful campground. We stayed for an extended period of time. The staff are wonderful and helpful. The amenities are very nice. The park is very clean and well maintained. We really enjoyed the communication from the park regarding events, and such. I recommend this location to anyone.

First, let me say that every staff member of the Wash/Cap KOA was incredibly kind, courteous and helpful. My ratings on them seperately would be 10 and 5 for the above questions. Second, I may just be spoiled from previous KOA stays, but I was very disappointed with the grounds: primarily the lack of pavement and lot size. Was this was another campground that affiliated recently with KOA?

my site was underneath an oak tree spent the entire visit listening to nuts rain down on my trailer. too many barking dogs, the class b behind me had a chiwawa that barked for the entire time I was setting up and then every time he was put out for the entire time he was out. the campground amenities.were okay.

Quiet hours were not enforced. Neighbour with visitors kept us up until nearly midnight, talking around their campfire. And their dog started barking at 6:20 am. Level spot. Hose fittings for water didn't seem to be standard and had a bit of a challenge with that. Nice people, clean park, good amenities. Just the neighbour was an issue.

Tony and Dottie are the best! You owners should do all you can to keep them. Everything was wonderful. Kudos to your housekeeping staff as well, super clean restrooms. Highly recommended!!!!!

It was our first stay at a KOA, we were very impressed by the excellent customer service in your store and from the gentleman who escorted us to our cabin. Beautiful campground, clean facilities what more could you ask for. Close to our destination which was the MD Renaissance Festival. Thanks!

Didn't have much time to stay as we were traveling.  You had just what we needed, a quiet place to pitch a tent and sleep and clean bath house to take a shower.  Would definitely recommend.

I have nothing but good things to say about my one night stay. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful! Cabin was spotlessly clean! Other campers were friendly and polite. It was peaceful and quiet. I can hardly wait to do this again! Thanks for making it such a great experience!!

Nice place but totally ridiculous to charge us an extra $10 to stay an extra 38 minutes because we needed to run an errand. The campground was not full and obviously there was no one waiting for our spot because check in wasn’t for another 2 hrs later ! ��

This was our second visit and we enjoyed our stay! I love the beautiful trees at the campground and the staff members are so very nice. I also like the extremely clean bathrooms and showers! The best I’ve seen at a campground in quite a while!

Super convenient to DC and not a bad drive to Baltimore. Clean and well-maintained. Good size not gigantic. Super nice people.

Our plans had changed and we needed a longer stay. The campground was heavily booked for the weekend going into the following week, but the staff was very helpful and accommodating. They found a way to extend our stay stay that was transparent to anyone.

Very pleasant stay in the 2BR with deck cabins. Very thoughtful to the stay for leaving the outside lights on since we arrived at nighttime :) Cleaned bathrooms / showers. Enjoyed the nature trail and the outside games with the family. Really friendly staff! Only improvement is that they did not have anybody that day to be able to use the inflated pillow. Overall very thankfull & happy!

We had a wonderful stay! This was our first time ever staying and it won’t be our last! Other than myself asking to possibly be closer to the bathrooms it was wonderful. We did have a couple guests that were up until 2 am and another whose children were throwing rocks (big ones) We were able to sleep through it all. Thank you again!!!!

My stay was amazing! The bathroom and my cabin were spotless. The showers were well cleaned and maintained The shower water was hot and plentiful. FINALLY Dennis and Susan were amazing hosts.

DC KOA was a great place for our 3 night shake down for a new 5th wheel. Staff was great. We took our bikes to nearby B&A trail. Dinner out one night was great at nearby Blackwall.

The overall appearance of the property was very good. The bathrooms and showers were kept up and considered by all in my group to be very clean. The Campground staff, from those at registration to those who helped out at our site was very helpful . I would recommend this KOA to others and hope to have an opportunity to return next year.

Staff were very helpful. The parking was a little difficult (site #99). Water was off for 45 minutes or so which was a little inconvenient. But, tent camp site area we were in really felt like we were in the middle of the woods, which was lovely.

We stayed in a cabin and the bath house was a long walk. There are 3 rows of big campers to walk around. The rules say not to cut across occupied sites. Both bath houses are next to each other. Very bad planning. One of the bath houses should be by the cabins. Also the fire ring is literally 3 feet from the road and we could not move it. Staff was friendly and other facilities were fine.

The staff were friendly and helpful in suggesting information and ideas of things to do. The showers and laundry facilities clean and efficient. And their location was perfect. Close to the Marc train and other shopping and sight seeing events. My only complaint and the reason for awarding 4 out of 5 was the sudden loss of their internet. It worked well for the 1st few days then quit.

The sites are on the small side. Our fire pit was up against the road - we elected not to have a fire because of this (not very functional). I like the wooded area; didn't even mind the nuts hitting the top of the camper. What really turned us off - on our last day, with no warning, the water was turned off to the campground. We could not shower, do dishes or properly clean before we left.

Older facility but is very well maintained and in constant upgrading. Super friendly staff. Easy in and out.

Very welcoming staff! Everyone was friendly, kind, and made you feel right at home. Nice spacious area, not overly crowded with RV sites.

Excellent location, close to Fort Meade, they have cottages and a tiny house, staff were very helpful. Location is convenient.
