The ice cream and corn dogs were yummy. We always enjoy our stay at this koa, been coming here for 10 years, its so peaceful.

We travel from Florida to Michigan at least once a year and always stay at this KOA . They are great people and very accommodating highly recommended them !��

Happy and helpful folks. Nice park, convenient to shopping. Neil Armstrong Museum a must to visit. Order dinner from the cafe and they will bring it to you. Thanks Wapakoneta KOA!

The rate for us was 10+ they were very accommodating and went above and beyond for us! Campground was VERY well kept and easy on and off ramps to Interstate 75 we will be telling everyone we encounter going that way to give Wapakeneta KOA A visit they won’t be disappointed!

Great people running campground. Sites were well maintained. One of the cleanest KOA we have been to in our travels.

It was a very nice campground we didn't use any of the facilities because we have everything on our rig. The people that ran it was really nice and helpful .

The campground was clean and well kept and manager very nice; however, the sites were really close. Our awning almost touched the neighbors, and we moved the picnic table to keep from eating next to their sewer line. Will probably give it another try if we find a wider spot.

We used the Wapak KOA as a mid point meeting location for meeting other family members. Everything went as planned mostly due to the management and staff at the KOA. They were wonderful!

We loved the park. The lots are very close,drinking water is bad even with a filter system. People are very friendly and manager is nice

So sorry about the water! We have well water that is tested and treated all of the time....if you are not used to it, you may think it is 'bad'. Glad that you 'loved' the park....we love it too!

I had an extended stay since I arrived earlier than planned for my niece's wedding. I grew up in the area so I was within an easy drive (50-70 miles at most) of where I wanted to go. The wedding was in Dayton. I would stay again!

When we stayed here in past years there were lots of fun shirts and souvenirs readily available-they were not this year. This was a disappointment. There was no printed menu, which we prefer, for available food service. Workers but did the necessary; not above and beyond. I made advance reservations and we got a mostly sunny site our 31 ft RV that barely fit for our 4 night stay.

In 2020, you had a note wanting shade. This reservation only indicated 'late arrival'...nothing about shade. If the site did not work, we could have possibly moved you, if you had asked. We are now Camp Green - saving paper. Menu sent via text. Current managers were here in 2020, have more gifts now

We were able to change our site when we arrived to something we liked better. The staff was very attentive to our needs and pleasant at all times. Trash was picked up regularly. The grounds are card for and the pool is well maintained. This was my second visit to wapakoneta koa and I will visit again.

Overnight stay for us and so glad. This place is so tight…our awning couldn’t even go all the way out! We were so close to our neighbors that we didn’t even sit outside. Back in spots look larger so go for those if you plan on staying here.

Very easy on and off I-75. Every visitor gets someone to direct them to their campsite. Staff inside and outside are very helpful and extremely friendly!

Staff was wonderful, helpful, and friendly. Bath houses a little dated and campground itself was compact but well maintained . Appreciated the full hook up pull through sites.

This stop was convenient to the Interstate. We booked an overnight pull through for a quick morning departure. The site was ridiculously narrow to the point we could not open our awning without hitting the neighbour. In addition it was so unlevel that it was beyond the range of our auto level system and the sewer placement is horrible.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Sorry for your trouble with the site. We are a 50 year old park and big rigs towing will often be 'away' from the sewer drop just to get your off the road. If we were able, we sure would have tried another site.....if you had let us know. Usually parking in the center of the site makes it level.

This was our second stay for 4 nights. We really love this place!!! The owners are way above wonderful. The staff is always so nice and friendly. Grounds are always clean and so are the bathrooms. Will definitely go back again!

Staff was very kind and helpful when we arrived with not one but two blown tires on our trailer. Being new to camping, they went out of their way to help us get settled in and get our tires replaced. Grounds were neat, clean and quiet. We totally enjoyed our stay in this part of our state. Thank you!

Check in is at the back of the campground and the spaces are tight. The campground itself is nice and very well maintained. Good dog walking areas. Nice camp store with small snack bar selling Pizza and Wings. Friendly Staff. We would stay here again.

We stayed in the Deluxe Cabin for 4 nights, it was comfortable. The camp is clean and safe and even though it was near the end of the season there was a lot for us to do both at the camp and in the surrounding area. Such as - The Neil Armstrong Museum, Heritage Park (river walk, and our 6 month old Bernedoodle enjoyed a nice romp at the dog, the historical downtown) there are several parks around town with playgrounds as well. The campground also has a dog park both for big and small dogs. A playground and arcade for the big and little kids. ha ha We enjoyed our little get-away to the KOA at Wapakoneta. It was nice, relaxing and a fun way to spend our 34th wedding anniversary with just the 2 of us and our puppy. :) Kevin and Karen were so accommodating and helpful! Karen even mailed an item we left behind. Thank You! * sharing a picture of Bernie our puppy because this was "Bernie's Road Trip" and because he so adorable :)
