Warm welcome. Very tidy campground. Easy level sites. For a 5/5 this campground just needs to stay open until mid November for more convenient travel dates.

There was a guest that arrived after we had set up our camper. They were unsure where the office for the campground was located. They asked someone on one of the golfcarts where it was located, and the response was unbelievably rude. The person on the golf cart actually said, "if you are that stupid, then I am not sure we want you to stay here". After overhearing this, we won't be returning!

This was an amazing rv park, the folks working were the best, and also the pizza and chicken wings were superb. Will definitely stay here again when we come through, and probably spend some time.

So glad we found you. Easy on, easy off location. Loved the gas grill so we cooked our dinner outside. Nice grounds. Great dog park. We will stop again for sure.

We had an extended stay and thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Wapakoneta KOA. The managers try extremely hard to keep the grounds clean. They pickup trash on a regular basis and guide you to you site at check in. While the pool was closed during our stay in Sept/Oct, it was great last year when we stayed during the summer. While some sites are tight, (like most KOA’s), site are relatively level

Great!. We were in town for our daughter's 50th Borthay Surprise Party. We lived in Wapak 3 years ago but now live in Sarasota Florida. We were very familai with the KOA and whenever we drive our motorhome to Wapak for visits always try to stay at the Wapak KOA. Thank you for doing a fantastic job!

Very nice park. Sites are a little close and I would appreciate a larger dog park. All in all a nice stay!

Campground is close to everything! It’s well maintained and bathrooms are clean! We had a lovely stay in campsite 85 despite the rain. Sad to see it being downgraded from a deluxe koa patio but I understand the reasoning behind it. It’s a wonderful site! Take care and thank you!

I have been a KOA member since 2014. The past 4 years my extended family has held our family reunion at Wapakoneta KOA (sometimes twice a year). We have averaged 3-4 lodge cabins 2-3 camp cabins, 2-3 RV sites each visit. Our family was treated rude, accused of theft and much more. Out of characters!

We spent 4 nights enjoying a small family reunion. We can not tell you how accommodating the staff was making our stay a wonderful experience. As things would happen, the campground experienced a broken water pipe. The staff worked overtime to make it a none issue. Thank you folks for all your hard work!!!

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Our site was good for our quick overnight. This was our second stay and it is an excellent choice. The only negative is the speedbumps which you must repeatedly go over to get into the campground and your site. But I’m sure we’ll stop here again.

This was our sixth time staying there. We have stayed for one night all six times as we traveled from one destination to another. We were always warmly and given a site that met our needs.

We noticed some definite improvements. Very good Wi-Fi, a new cable T.V supplier that is a great improvement. The campground is always well kept and managed. My only suggestion is to apply brine or oil to the roads to hold down the dust.

The water iron level is quite high. An iron filter should be installled by the campground or make sure everyone has one..

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

AS with most well water in this area the mineral content is high. If you camp regularly I would recommend you carrying a water filter with you, I'm sure we are not the only campground with this problem

Loved our stay as usual. Campgrounds clean and tidy. Love the staff especially Pati & Ken. Always a welcoming stay at this KOA.

What a wonderful campground! Loved how close it was to the freeway. and you could see the museum from the field! Nicest crew! And probably some of the nicest campers we ever met! The middle row sites were kinda close but we made it work just fine!

We were there for 28 days. Garbage was picked up promptly when put at curb. We had a site with a deck which was nice. Some of their sites don’t have decks or patio’s, find that very odd. They need to have patio’s or decks at their sites. Otherwise a very well kept campgrounds. Kudos to management team-Karen, Kevin, Pati and Ken -great job!

We stayed in the Deluxe Cabin for 4 nights, it was comfortable. The camp is clean and safe and even though it was near the end of the season there was a lot for us to do both at the camp and in the surrounding area. Such as - The Neil Armstrong Museum, Heritage Park (river walk, and our 6 month old Bernedoodle enjoyed a nice romp at the dog, the historical downtown) there are several parks around town with playgrounds as well. The campground also has a dog park both for big and small dogs. A playground and arcade for the big and little kids. ha ha We enjoyed our little get-away to the KOA at Wapakoneta. It was nice, relaxing and a fun way to spend our 34th wedding anniversary with just the 2 of us and our puppy. :) Kevin and Karen were so accommodating and helpful! Karen even mailed an item we left behind. Thank You! * sharing a picture of Bernie our puppy because this was "Bernie's Road Trip" and because he so adorable :)
