Excellent facilities and grounds. Camp staff are friendly and very helpful. We had a top notch stay and will definately consider this campground if we are in the area.

Ours is just an overnight stop moving south and north between Michigan and Florida. We do not utilize the facility so difficult to rate them. I have always had helpful responsive folks assisting me in reservations and location.

The staff were very friendly. Areas were well kept and clean. Bathrooms are clean. Only negative is how tight and narrow the sites are.

we always enjoy this KOA- friendly clean and always nice and peaceful- we didn’t give it the full number because there was dog feces in our small stretch of yard- this was obviously more on the pet owner who didn’t bother to use the fenced it pet area but still it was nasty.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Dog owners should take care of their dog's waste - period. We try to police dog walkers/owners and if we see that they don't pick up - they are asked to leave....simple. Apologies to the camper and karma to the pet owner!

The grounds were nicely groomed and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The guy who guided us to our site noticed our concern with some of the low hanging branches and returned with a lopper to trim them back so we could open our slide without scraping.

Great overnight stop for us. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful.. I would have given a 10 and a 5 rating but the sites are a little too close together That said we have a 45 foot Class A with a pick up truck tow and we fit nicely in our site. We will stop here again.

People were friendly and helping. I just feel anytime I have to pay over $50 for a night stay it should include a concrete pad and more space. It is a complaint in general with KOA. They want top dollar but stone roads, close together, and no concrete pads

We stopped here for a quick overnight on a long return trip home. We got a pull-thru hoping for a quick set up, but it required a bit of finagling. In the end it was fine for our purposes. It was conveniently located to I-75 and several restaurants. The campground had a pool, game room and other amenities that would make it nice for a longer stay.

Very clean, kind staff, lots of amenities. We stumbled across this gem on our way home from another campground and it was the saving grace at the end of our trip. The other place was not family friendly and left us drained and ready to be home. The hour and a half we had at their pool that night before it closed was one of the highlights of the trip where everyone was happy at once. Love KOA now!

The Wapakoneta KOA is a beautifully treed RV park nearby the US Air Force museum, the Neil Armstrong museum and the Airstream factory. It has a nice pool and is surrounded by farmland. The camp sites can be a little tight but other than that it’s really worth going to.

We stayed in the Deluxe Cabin for 4 nights, it was comfortable. The camp is clean and safe and even though it was near the end of the season there was a lot for us to do both at the camp and in the surrounding area. Such as - The Neil Armstrong Museum, Heritage Park (river walk, and our 6 month old Bernedoodle enjoyed a nice romp at the dog, the historical downtown) there are several parks around town with playgrounds as well. The campground also has a dog park both for big and small dogs. A playground and arcade for the big and little kids. ha ha We enjoyed our little get-away to the KOA at Wapakoneta. It was nice, relaxing and a fun way to spend our 34th wedding anniversary with just the 2 of us and our puppy. :) Kevin and Karen were so accommodating and helpful! Karen even mailed an item we left behind. Thank You! * sharing a picture of Bernie our puppy because this was "Bernie's Road Trip" and because he so adorable :)
