This immaculate campground is very well situated on the edge of the vibrant town of Wanakapeta. We stayed 3 nights in June and look forward to our next visit in September. So much to see and do in this charming community. The pull through sites are very close together so there was no privacy outside and we had to move our satellite out by the road to get a signal, but that was a minor flaw.

It is a very clean and quiet campground. Everyone was very friendly and helpful with anything we needed.

Just an over nighter called got a nice pull thru full hookups.Very nice people in the office and an escort to our site. I would stay here again

There is not much space at all in-between the rigs. When you have your slides out you probably won’t be able to put your awning out because you’re so close to your neighbor. There is larger spaces on the sides but most spaces are the skinny ones. This is not a spot I would recommend to stay for an extended time. It’s a great place to stop one night to rest while passing through.

Being an older campground as many KOA's are the sites are smaller. The patio sites are larger and may be more accommodating to your rig size if that's what's important to you. Most one nighter's spend more time asleep than awake and find us friendly and a safe place to stay

Great location. The site was nice and shady and long enough for my motorhome and tow dolly. The staff was very helpful and did a excellent job maintaining the park.

Location was great but site was way too narrow and stuck beside a run down camper made it for not a nice view…also fire pit was practically on the road on a good note the back of the campground was beautiful too bad sites were not there and had the best dog space

Sorry your stay was less that desirable. The camper you're referring to was on your non patio side so not sure what view you were hoping for. Fire pits are not in the road, they appear to be because people continue to drive in the grass, damaged areas get replaced with gravel. It's called road creep

Although we arrived very late - we were able to easily find our site because the staff called me to tell me exactly what to do as soon as I got to the entrance of the park. The grounds looked great the next day and it was a very quiet location. Pool is big and looked great. Showers clean and the family bathroom/showers that are handicapped accessible are a blessing. I would stay there again

We stopped for one night on our trip to Michigan. This was a clean, safe, and comfortable place to stay. It was wonderful how the store has a cafe, we could order home-cooked sloppy joe and pulled pork sandwich which was delivered to our campsite. Thank You. We have a 1- pound dog who needs a place to run and this campground has 2 dog parks (good size for little dogs). Full hookup was nice.

Staff very friendly. Park is kept up good. The surrounding area does not offer much.

Thank you for staying with us....however, one night in the middle of April does not do justice to the area. The town is an amazing example of small town Americana. The boutiques and restaurants are wonderful! Neil Armstrong is rolling over in his grave with your review!

We were a little surprised that an obvious long term stay local family was next door on one of the premium sites. With 6 people, it was the only noticeably noisy site the whole weekend. Disappointing since we paid extra to select a premium site. Otherwise mgmnt top notch as usual. Lots of holiday weekend activities for kids AND grown-ups.

The owner (?) or manager (maybe) was amazing and I love the texting system for notifications and updates. The pool was nice and amenities were great for kids BUT the space between sites is WAY too small!! Since it is only my hubby and me - that is what we look forward to the most - the privacy and quiet. It was anything but that.

The workers are very friendly. Loved the activities. The camp spots are just too close, as you feel you are camping with the neighbors.

The water/electric sites are noted in the system as 'buddy sites'.....facing the neighbor. More privacy would be provided in the full hook-up pull through sites or the back in water/electric which are very nice! We hope you visit again and try another site or 'select a site' that you love!

It rained all night and in the morning everything in my site that wasn't the gravel parking pad was under at least a half inch of water. If I hadn't been leaving that morning anyway it would have put a damper on the day.

This was a last minute reservation. traveling from VA to MI. Had reservations at a Good Sam park in Chillicothe OH but could not accommodate our rig. Got back on the road and called this park, rep was so nice and found us a spot for the night. Easy on and off I75, site was very level, friendly staff, Good water pressure. Not enough time to experience the pool, store, or cafe but looked nice.

The persons that assisted us with reservations ;also greeted us upon arrival and showed us directly to our site. The host were genuine and very very nice. The grounds were clean and very well kept . This also included the 2 dog parks . The pool was not open at the time we were camping But they were working on getting it ready. I would recommend this KOA to all passer-by's or long term campers .

We stayed in the Deluxe Cabin for 4 nights, it was comfortable. The camp is clean and safe and even though it was near the end of the season there was a lot for us to do both at the camp and in the surrounding area. Such as - The Neil Armstrong Museum, Heritage Park (river walk, and our 6 month old Bernedoodle enjoyed a nice romp at the dog, the historical downtown) there are several parks around town with playgrounds as well. The campground also has a dog park both for big and small dogs. A playground and arcade for the big and little kids. ha ha We enjoyed our little get-away to the KOA at Wapakoneta. It was nice, relaxing and a fun way to spend our 34th wedding anniversary with just the 2 of us and our puppy. :) Kevin and Karen were so accommodating and helpful! Karen even mailed an item we left behind. Thank You! * sharing a picture of Bernie our puppy because this was "Bernie's Road Trip" and because he so adorable :)
