Very nice place to stay. Very friendly reception by the people at the front desk and over the telephone when we called to make the reservation to begin with. They gave us recommendations for the town of Wapakoneta which is a very historic and friendly town. Would return and it would recommend a stay here.

Nice Campground very nice people running it. Finding KOA is getting expensive generally

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

April 1st came in with a bang! We had no power the entire day until 830pm. We therefore refunded money to your card and the stay only cost $25.00. Initial reservation was $59.34. Last year at this time, site charge was $62.26. Our site charges were reduced! Whew! Go Wapakoneta KOA Holiday!

Not a very big campground and the sites are not that big but the services offered are excellent and the place is very clean. The staff extremely pleasant and we only stopped for one night heading back home to Canada. And the area was badly hit by a tornado the previous day. They weee lucjy to be missed but we’re operating normally. Kudos to them. Yes I would stay there again!

Great place with great people! Most accommodating KOA we have been to. Staff upgraded us to a great patio site since we were staying for a week and they wanted us to be comfortable. Also, the pizza they made at the cafe was amazing. Will definitely be back!

This host couple was truly amazing. Definitely catered to us. The park was very well organized and very friendly. The area was immaculate.

Yes the sites are small, but the hosts are wonderful, they sell hot food for dinner (the pretzels are especially great) and they go above and beyond to help campers. Only bad check was clearness of TV channels, it was horrible, only one channel came in clear, fortunately it was a major channel that could give us weather and news.

We’ve been coming there for years and it is still very friendly to snowbirds. We’re disappointed with increased pricing and site 19 is low on one side and hard to level. But staff is great. Clean park!

Friendly and efficient check in. Site was tidy and well kept. Please stay open a couple weeks longer though - we miss the November opportunity to stay when en route which we used to do annually.

Not sure what your problem was with the cable. Why didn't you report it? I will never understand why people write bad reviews when you never give us the chance to make things right. Your problem?? Upon checking the connection I found no problems

Only stayed one night, as we're on route to Florida. Easy in and out full hookup was good. Helpful, nice people. Will stay here again.

We stayed in the Deluxe Cabin for 4 nights, it was comfortable. The camp is clean and safe and even though it was near the end of the season there was a lot for us to do both at the camp and in the surrounding area. Such as - The Neil Armstrong Museum, Heritage Park (river walk, and our 6 month old Bernedoodle enjoyed a nice romp at the dog, the historical downtown) there are several parks around town with playgrounds as well. The campground also has a dog park both for big and small dogs. A playground and arcade for the big and little kids. ha ha We enjoyed our little get-away to the KOA at Wapakoneta. It was nice, relaxing and a fun way to spend our 34th wedding anniversary with just the 2 of us and our puppy. :) Kevin and Karen were so accommodating and helpful! Karen even mailed an item we left behind. Thank You! * sharing a picture of Bernie our puppy because this was "Bernie's Road Trip" and because he so adorable :)
