Our stay was short we were just passing through on our way home from Tennessee. Very confident location. The park was clean and staff was very friendly.

It was nice quiet campground. Not much for the kids to do at the camp ground. Office staff are very friendly and go above and beyond for their customers.

We’ve stayed here several times and every time have felt welcome. It is a nice park. I have been here with my 44 foot fifth wheel and was easy to maneuver through the park to and from my site.

Overall great place. Managers are awesome, cabins great and grounds great. My only knock was cleaning practices which management addressed once it was brought to their attention. Very responsive management. A bonus here is a geocache located in front of the campground. Looking forward to our next stopover here next month.

This was my first time at a KOA. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with kindness. The staff made sure we knew all the hours of operation and the cafe menu. They sent me a text with all the information as well. Larry guided us to our spot. Kevin filled our propane tank and delivered it and the sweet ladies inside whose names I didn’t get made us a pizza and delivered it to our spot.

If you like dogs, this is the place for you to stay! If you like dog owners who keep there dogs inside there trailer for the day, while there gone, and the dogs bark constantly, this place is for you!

If you would have notified the office we would have called the owners to return. Much easier to say nothing and give a bad review..... Unfortunately you reviewed other campers and not the campground.

This immaculate campground is very well situated on the edge of the vibrant town of Wanakapeta. We stayed 3 nights in June and look forward to our next visit in September. So much to see and do in this charming community. The pull through sites are very close together so there was no privacy outside and we had to move our satellite out by the road to get a signal, but that was a minor flaw.

Just an over nighter called got a nice pull thru full hookups.Very nice people in the office and an escort to our site. I would stay here again

There is not much space at all in-between the rigs. When you have your slides out you probably won’t be able to put your awning out because you’re so close to your neighbor. There is larger spaces on the sides but most spaces are the skinny ones. This is not a spot I would recommend to stay for an extended time. It’s a great place to stop one night to rest while passing through.

Being an older campground as many KOA's are the sites are smaller. The patio sites are larger and may be more accommodating to your rig size if that's what's important to you. Most one nighter's spend more time asleep than awake and find us friendly and a safe place to stay

Great location. The site was nice and shady and long enough for my motorhome and tow dolly. The staff was very helpful and did a excellent job maintaining the park.

Location was great but site was way too narrow and stuck beside a run down camper made it for not a nice view…also fire pit was practically on the road on a good note the back of the campground was beautiful too bad sites were not there and had the best dog space

Sorry your stay was less that desirable. The camper you're referring to was on your non patio side so not sure what view you were hoping for. Fire pits are not in the road, they appear to be because people continue to drive in the grass, damaged areas get replaced with gravel. It's called road creep

What a lovely place! Everything was great from how clean things were to how helpful the staff was to even how friendly the atmosphere seemed. There were fun things to pass the time like the big pool, the game room, basketball and the playground. The cabins were awesome and made things so easy, especially since we could bring our dog. They even have 2 dog parks! We will hands down be back again.

Although we arrived very late - we were able to easily find our site because the staff called me to tell me exactly what to do as soon as I got to the entrance of the park. The grounds looked great the next day and it was a very quiet location. Pool is big and looked great. Showers clean and the family bathroom/showers that are handicapped accessible are a blessing. I would stay there again

We stopped for one night on our trip to Michigan. This was a clean, safe, and comfortable place to stay. It was wonderful how the store has a cafe, we could order home-cooked sloppy joe and pulled pork sandwich which was delivered to our campsite. Thank You. We have a 1- pound dog who needs a place to run and this campground has 2 dog parks (good size for little dogs). Full hookup was nice.

Thank you for staying with us....however, one night in the middle of April does not do justice to the area. The town is an amazing example of small town Americana. The boutiques and restaurants are wonderful! Neil Armstrong is rolling over in his grave with your review!

We stayed in the Deluxe Cabin for 4 nights, it was comfortable. The camp is clean and safe and even though it was near the end of the season there was a lot for us to do both at the camp and in the surrounding area. Such as - The Neil Armstrong Museum, Heritage Park (river walk, and our 6 month old Bernedoodle enjoyed a nice romp at the dog, the historical downtown) there are several parks around town with playgrounds as well. The campground also has a dog park both for big and small dogs. A playground and arcade for the big and little kids. ha ha We enjoyed our little get-away to the KOA at Wapakoneta. It was nice, relaxing and a fun way to spend our 34th wedding anniversary with just the 2 of us and our puppy. :) Kevin and Karen were so accommodating and helpful! Karen even mailed an item we left behind. Thank You! * sharing a picture of Bernie our puppy because this was "Bernie's Road Trip" and because he so adorable :)
