What crazy issues we had!! Camping in October, don’t turn on the heaters, otherwise you’ll make not 1 but 2 trips to the office to get them to figure out the smoke detectors!! They asked us to turn off the heater and use an oscillating heater. Maybe next time turn the heater on before your guest come.

We booked a tent site 6 and they are very small. We didn't actually have a tent but camped in our mini van. We couldn't use the fire pit because it was so close to the van and the next site that it felt very squished. The bathroom and camp store facilities were very nice!

Amazing hosts. Quiet, with spectacular views of Alsea Bay. Will be staying there often in the future.

Very nice campground, staff friendly and very helpful. The only improvement would be the cleanliness of the showers. It’s a busy place so I understand the challenge to keep up with the traffic in the showers. We would definitely stay and recommend this campground. They even have breakfast and a well stocked store. Thank you!!

We love staying at KOA kampgrounds all over Oregon . Very clean and nice Host and Hostess.

It is a good location with all amenities and very friendly hosts! I would have liked the bathrooms/showers to be cleaner and provide hand sanitizer.

Good camping spot well taken care of and improvements being camp made. Site #8 not sp good to close to workers garage. No privacy.

We always enjoy staying here. It’s been a couple of years but the experience was great. The staff is always welcoming and friendly. My daughter loves Gary the cat.

It was a nice location in the park looks clean, but the bathrooms need to be cleaned more often.

Staff were helpful, kind and friendly. I loved the private showers/bathrooms--much nicer than the communal ones. As a solo traveler/camper on a long car trip, this was such a welcoming and pleasant stop on my journey.

We liked this Campground, because the sites where really clean and so where the bathhouses. We had a great stay and the hosts where super friendly and helpful. We would def. stay here again.

Nice to hear from an employee at this place about the owner gaming the software platform i.e "the koa website" to show only 1 tent site available so as to keep riff raff [also known as the down and out] from turning up and taking a site. Well I'm sorry but if a customer has the money necessary to stay a night or two then why kick a person when they're down on their luck?

I don't often give 5 star reviews as a wise business man once told me "There's always room for improvement" as i rated his laundromat. This park is a premium facility located on the north side of Alsea Bay with spectacular views of the bay bridge, the bay and City of Waldport. The spaces and grounds are immaculate as are the bathrooms and facilities. I would advise people and people with pets to prepare for fleas and ticks. This is no fault on any particular facility or business. There's fleas and ticks at many areas along our coast. My friend and I had a very fine time during our stay. I very highly recommend this KOA Campground in Waldport Oregon.
