The cabin was clean & quiet. The TV was a bit tricky to get going. The fridge was terrible!!!! Froze all our food solid, very inconvenient. But overall, it's in a good location to be able to sightsee up & down the coast.

Stayed at cabin L37. The bed was supriseingly comfortable. I have bad hips problems so I was worried. Slept great

The deluxe cabin that we stayed in was amazing. Super cute, very well done, and plenty of room for 4 of us. KOA staff was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again.

It was safe and clean so it checks out as a KOA. We appreciated the camp store as it had several needed items and some cute "extra" items. It would be cool if they started carrying stickers too. The black tank hook up stuck up out of the ground to almost the same height as our trailer and didn't drain. They closed the playground to add a dog park. No warning, no idea how long it would take.

Oh No! You were trying to hook up to a clean out! Glad to hear you felt safe and all was clean. Sorry about the playground closure, that was actually due to some repairs needing to be done to the playground and timing it with an available welder.

Very quiet, clean, neat park with beautiful hedges between most sites and paved roads. I would definitely return.

Wonderful quiet campground, right on the bay with a nature trail down to the beach. Well-manicured hedges between sites provide great privacy. Very clean overall, including the private bathroom stalls that were in perfect condition.

These sites are extremely hard to back into. This is the only complaint we have. They all need new gravel. The park is isolated. Half hour or more from Newport.

The camp sites are spacious and well cared for and the staff are very helpful and pleasant. The bathrooms are kept clean. It is a beautifully located campground.

Site was clean and had an excellent view. Only issue I had was during check in when I was told I look familiar. Then the comment came out, "must be the mug shot at the post office". I don't know what was meant by that, but was not appreciated. This was my first time at this KOA and will be my last.

We have an a-frame trailer and it was super windy when we pulled in. We checked in and then decided we wanted to switch to a cabin for safety. Staff upgraded us for a small cost and we were happy and felt safe with our kids for the night.

Great customer service! Well stocked store. Clean property. Clean restrooms/showers. We are regulars, two to 3 times per year. GREAT LOCATION! Beautiful grounds, maintenance is primo!

Chris and his wife have been a tremendous help and resource for my fiancé and I. We just had a new baby and it was her first camping trip. Chris is always checking on the guests and their needs. I think his wife cleans the restrooms and maybe the cabins, which are very clean. The water in the showers are HOT!!! �. The overall camp is very clean and quiet. From the moment of reservation to departure, the staff was always kind and really welcoming; an area of improvement is: the sink outside the bathrooms never had paper towels inside the dispenser during our stay, the same with one of the bathrooms, either didn't work or they weren't refilled. Yes, we will hopefully come back. Thank you.

The first thing we were given was a paper with all the rules. It was two pages of things not to do. Our 10 year son had to be accompanied. The park says Newport but it is 17 miles from Newport. The camp spots are very small. If you are 80 years old Stay at this KOA. The playground was corded off. If you have kids go somewhere else. Worst KOA we have stayed at so far.

The grounds were well kept and clean. Trails were well maintained and staff was friendly. Our cabin was clean and cute, comfortable and had everything we needed to cook. The outside area with the fire pit was large enough for us to put 6 chairs around. Our only complaints are we ran out of hot water too quickly and the playground was under repair and not useable.

Very nice. The campground was clean & the staff very friendly & helpful. There was too mich lighting in the campground at night. Overhead lights felt like stadium lighting. Very bright.

Staff were helpful, kind and friendly. I loved the private showers/bathrooms--much nicer than the communal ones. As a solo traveler/camper on a long car trip, this was such a welcoming and pleasant stop on my journey.

Only suggestion we have is to empty the garbage bin when it is full. Hosts were very nice.

I don't often give 5 star reviews as a wise business man once told me "There's always room for improvement" as i rated his laundromat. This park is a premium facility located on the north side of Alsea Bay with spectacular views of the bay bridge, the bay and City of Waldport. The spaces and grounds are immaculate as are the bathrooms and facilities. I would advise people and people with pets to prepare for fleas and ticks. This is no fault on any particular facility or business. There's fleas and ticks at many areas along our coast. My friend and I had a very fine time during our stay. I very highly recommend this KOA Campground in Waldport Oregon.
