It's clearly at the classier end of KOA places. They shouldn't allow a trailer as long as ours, 27 feet, in a site where the only exit is an immediate sharp right turn. The nagging sign in the restroom will have no effect other than to annoy--for example, a person with sand all over them will shower it off there despite the nagging sign, so the sign's only effect is to make the KOA sound fussy.

We beg to differ on the signs. The signs have been effective. It is very difficult to clean hair dye off of a shower. Especially purple or pink hair dye. And it is unfair to other campers when the showers are used for anything other than showering.

For our stay.. there were two things that we did not like. 1.Garbage.. really ?Two for the whole place? Either have it picked up more often or get more cans. We stayed three nights and watched it grow over the top and all over the ground. All I can think of are the animals that it will attract.2.We always stay at KOA’s ! Mainly for the dogs because they always have a nice DOG PARK! No park 4 dog

Enjoyed our stay very much. Couldn't understand why we had to pay $25 45 minutes early for our RV site which was ready to go. Suggest you change that policy. Tainted an otherwise great experience at the park.

Great stay in waldport. Staff is friendly and helpful. We had flat on rig after pulling in and they were helpful identifying location n to fix it. One comment on hookups.....site 30 water spicket is very short.

The campground was very clean, with staff members maintaining the grounds all day. Great location for exploring the central Oregon coast.

The sites aren't level, they are just grassy areas. Plus the extra rules that this place puts on you for kids and pets is ridiculous. I can get a better camp sight for $30 a night cheaper at the state park just down the road for the exact same amenities. I have stayed at some pretty awesome KOA's, but this one just doesn't do it for me. I won't be returning.

The sites were close so not much privacy. Not a fault of KOA,the wind was gusty and we had to continue picking up trash from a close site. Maybe that could be address when arriving that attention needs to be given to items that can blow. Also that Malamutes were on their list of dangerous dogs was upsetting. Many other aggressive breeds were not listed. Had to convinced them our old boy was a lo

This is my husband's fav KOA. We love the area and beautiful bridge. Plus so close to the beaches and great places like Seal Rock and Sea Lion Caves and my fav, the Heceta Head Lighthouse. Will definitely return when we can. Thank you!

Great location, campground laid out well, our cabin was cute and comfy with just the right amount of amenities. Restrooms were clean and convenient to access. Staff very friendly. I would definitely make a return trip

Everyone in the park was really nice. The maintenance guy named Chris brought us wood and ice when we needed it. It was a relaxing family reunion.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The park was clean with nice tall hedges for privacy. Great views, and a nice nature trail to the beach.

Last year there was more green grass. I know that they watered between rv's. A little fertilizer would go a long ways and put that water to work to help it be green grass. Staff super nice. I so appreciate the staff driving around with wood to sell, that is so kind. Thank you �

the staff was GREAT and always going beyond. only one issue - the dogs.... constant barking and many were not on leashes. We will be back. Thank you for a great time.

I don't often give 5 star reviews as a wise business man once told me "There's always room for improvement" as i rated his laundromat. This park is a premium facility located on the north side of Alsea Bay with spectacular views of the bay bridge, the bay and City of Waldport. The spaces and grounds are immaculate as are the bathrooms and facilities. I would advise people and people with pets to prepare for fleas and ticks. This is no fault on any particular facility or business. There's fleas and ticks at many areas along our coast. My friend and I had a very fine time during our stay. I very highly recommend this KOA Campground in Waldport Oregon.
