Check in was smooth & friendly. We liked the individual shower rooms & the dish washing sink. Our cabin was clean & pleasant. Our mattress was uncomfortably soft/broken in. The "yard" in front of our cabin was slanted & neither the picnic table or fire pit were leveled. This made the table barely usable and very uncomfortable & the fire pit did not work well for some cooking.

deserves 10 and 5 except for noisy kids and barking dogs. kids played on the road in front of our rv for 2 days before we left. why doesn't a employee advise them or parents they have a playground to play in so as not to disturb others. several employees drove by on golfcarts as the kids were riding scooters back and forth, screaming and yelling for hours making parts of our stay miserable.

Everything was great! People very friendly. Bathrooms clean. Cable didn't work at first. Staff got right on it! Within 5 minutes we had cable.

This was one one the BEST KOA’s we have stayed at on this trip. We did have a patio site but we have had a couple of those on this trip- none compared to this one! Only wish we had booked more days here!

Very disappointed that when I made my reservations I asked that I get a 50 amp service they told me over the phone no problem and when I arrived I only had a 30 amp service not to happy about this you ask for something and told no problem and get something else

You booked a 30amp on-line. When you book on line you chose the site type. Would suggest for future reservations call the campground directly. That way you won't select something you don't want. Campgrounds are happy to help you book.

Very nice park. The sites are very clean and the host's and employees are awesome. The no guest policy is a little over the top. Not sure if this is a KOA policy or local.

Only problem was the extremely bright pole light that seemed unnecessary and interfered with sleep in our section of the park.

Was going to be a high rating but on the morning to leave the sewer was backed up causing the elbow to break when I went to empty the tank took a unwanted bath. Also the elbow at the water valve was leaking they tried to slow it down with a clamp. My opinion is they should have notified us about the sewer. The elbow should have been replaced before the site was used

A very nice KOA. There does seem to be an awful lot of rules and restrictions on guests and pets.

Very spacious site, and well kept grounds. Staff was friendly and showers were above average. Not much shade, but that is not usually an issue in the NW. I would go there again.

Had a great time here for 3 days. Went to the beach, up to the Newport Marina and had tremendous WIFI in the park. Couldn't be better.

This is a very nice campground. We have stayed here twice. Our only suggestion would be to have the spaces leveled/graded periodically. The space we had this time took all of our leveling blocks, and still was off the bead, front to back.

Waldport/Newport KOA is one of our FAVORITE KOA campgrounds in the western United States. They are always very clean and camper friendly! They are always eager to help and the sites and grounds are very well maintained. We have introduced this location to many of our friends and family members. There are also a lot of great family friendly things to do within a short distance. ENJOY!

Nice little KOA, but way too crowded for us. The sites and the traffic is quite congested. We didn’t like how close we were to the the other sites. However the location is convenient.

The sites were reasonably spaced. But as with many KOAs, maintenance is lacking. Restroom facilities are tired. Faucets with only scalding hot water are a concern. With rates at $70+/- per site per night, it seems money should be available for adequate maintenance.

Our staff works really hard to keep everything maintained. We have mature hedges between sites, well paved streets, clean sites. We love our vintage bathrooms and work hard to keep them sparkling. Sorry we didn't work out for you.

The staff was friendly and had great customer service. Grass was dead. Very tight fit. Had to move my truck so a class A motorhome could get through because he was up against the bushes.

Grass usually dies off in some areas, when the rain stops in the summer. If a vehicle is parked in a way that makes it difficult for someone to get by, will ask it to be moved so another can get by more easily.

Very expensive for a cabin that did not include any towels, sheets or even a dish towel or paper towel. Beds were not comfortable, hard in the bedroom and a very lumpy futon. The campground is clean and in a great location.

Due to a last minute reservation we were put in the "overflow" area next to extra parking. It wouldn't have been so bad but the charge was $73.00. it was the most expensive site on our trip up the OR and CA coast for the least desirable site.

We had a great time. Quite and relaxing park we really enjoyed the tall shrubs between each site.The rest rooms were kept very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful, the only issue was that I wish they could have all worn the yellow shirts that we were used to seeing at other koa's. After every guest left the staff would come around clean the table and rake the whole site. Easy to find enjoy !

The cabins were clean and comfortable, and the campground was fabulous except for one very important issue - NOT ENOUGH BATHROOMS AND SHOWERS! This was a real problem, leading to very frustrated campers. Otherwise, it was great.

Perhaps need larger laundry room, with a couple more washers, several more dryers, more clothes folding counter space, and another clothes hanging pole. We will always stay at this KOA whenever we’re in this area.

The good: The location and bay view/access was fabulous. The trail goes to the bay and it’s a great place to play. The campground is clean and well maintained. The cabins are clean. Cons: Unless you have a deluxe bed in the deluxe cabin like I did, the bed pads are not adequate except for small children. We rented 7 cabins and everyone else were miserable. I don't often give 5 star reviews as a wise business man once told me "There's always room for improvement" as i rated his laundromat. This park is a premium facility located on the north side of Alsea Bay with spectacular views of the bay bridge, the bay and City of Waldport. The spaces and grounds are immaculate as are the bathrooms and facilities. I would advise people and people with pets to prepare for fleas and ticks. This is no fault on any particular facility or business. There's fleas and ticks at many areas along our coast. My friend and I had a very fine time during our stay. I very highly recommend this KOA Campground in Waldport Oregon.
